Battery life not long and u have to point the controller right next to lights to change the pattern

I ordered these because they were suggested to use in the flowering can ordered for the effect of the water coming out of the can. The holes are way to small for the lights to fit in. Had to drill larger holes through the can so the lights could go through.

I was very disappointed that a watering can did not come with the lights as pictured. The explanation of the light is deceiving.

Just so you all know, one of the two of these I received did not work at all, however this review is still valid because I base it on the working one.Pluses:Easy to select which setting you want.Excellent remote control.Timer function works great 6hrs on/18 hrs off - though I would prefer 8-10 on as it gets dark early (4p-5p) in the holiday season and thus the system turns on then off too early.EXTREMELY small and powerful LEDs.EXTREMELY small wires.Cons:Heavy "base unit" (when 4 AA's installed) with immovable and unadjustable hook. This can limit attaching it to a location.NOT - as the text says - DYI. There is no method of programming or ANYthing that would indicate a DYI ability (ie: like raspberry pi, or downloadable settings, etc)Battery compartment connection to logic board extremely sensitive (ie: can disconnect easily, thereby turning off lights)Limited range of selectable "light patterns". The patterns are identical to most micro-led light strings on the market. Nothing new to see.

I love this product the brightness , make beautiful nights

This product is not waterproof. First time it rained, lights stopped working. Battery compartment fully corroded.
