GEHWOL Hand Cream, 2.6 oz

I kept getting a dry, itchy rash around the area I wear my wedding ring. I’d get it to clear up after not wearing my ring and applying cortisone and a bandage for several days, but it would come right back after a day or two of wearing my ring again. I tried several hand creams, plus my go to: eucerin cream, to try to rebuild my moisture barrier, but nothing worked and this went on for over a year. Applying this hand cream once a night cleared up my rash and has kept it from coming back for 9 months now. It’s not super creamy or greasy at all, so it’s surprising to me how it keeps my hands from cracking and how it healed my finger.

Very successful at repairing cracked hand skin. It is absorbed quickly and has a pleasant although almost neutral scent. It is expensive, but it’s still the only handcream I would bother with.

I have ALWAYS had skin problems especially my hands. Serious dryness cracked bleeding on the fingertips and cuticles. At one point it got so bad that it was painful for me to change my nephews diaper because the baby wipes stung too much. I tried everything from weekly parfain wraps, all sorts of hand lotions, even prescribed medicated cream from my detmotologist. Finally my new manicurist told me Gehwol Gerlan hand cream and I have been hooked ever since. This stuff absolutely ROCKS and has literally saved my hands. As far as I know amazon is the only place that carries this product and while it cost more than most hand creams its absolutely worth it. This company also makes fantastic foot cream for those who find themselves needing both.

Excellent hand cream. Expensive

Throughout winter I suffer from dry skin and often cracks on my fingers. After years of trying all kinds of hand creams, I discovered this product a couple of years ago and have used it ever since. Despite (or perhaps consistent with) the plain packaging (it comes in an old-fashioned metal tube like the ones for toothpaste that were common forty years ago, with plain script and no fancy claims such as "professional"), I found it exceptionally effective if used twice a day, morning and evening; it is lightly and pleasantly scented and is absorbed by the skin very quickly without leaving hands greasy. The manufacturer appears to be a relatively small independent German company, not one of the major brands, and has a range of creams and ointments to cure dry skin on feet, such as Gehwol Med, which I also find extraordinarily effective (see my other review); this is their only hand cream.

Best hand cream ever! Not greasy. You can feel it being absorbed into your hands in seconds. My Aesthetician used this on meonce. I found it at Nordstrom once. If you can't find something go straight to Amazon! Thanks Amazon!

I order this product for problem areas of my skin. Heals right away.

I used this product for one week so far and I did not notice any significant changes on the softness of my hands. Will give it one more week and redo my review if there is an improvement.

Miglior crema per le mani mai usata. Ho ricevuto un campione in farmacia e me ne sono innamorata. Ne basta pochissima e rende la pelle morbida, non unge e lascia una piacevole sensazione. Ottima anche per l'inverno .

Non ne posso più fare a meno. Ideale per pelli secche. Assorbe velocemente. Consigliatissima.
