FamoWoodRed Oak 40022134 Latex Wood Filler-Pint, 1 Pack

This stuff is easy to apply, fast drying, can be "rough finished" with a taping knife just prior to sanding (I recommend doing this, the excess scrapes right off, which both speeds the sanding and keeps the sandpaper from clogging up quickly), and is a very good color match for red oak strip flooring. I've used it to fill nail holes, dents, gaps between strips, and water damaged raised grain. The very slight odor is not an issue, and any filler that dries on your fingers can be easily scrubbed off. I've ordered this three times, it is a go-to product.

Good water based poly wood filler. It came a tad dry for my taste so I put a ml of water in it, put the lid back on, and let it sit a few hours and it turned into a nice thick paste which was better for my project. Dries fast, sands easy and didn't shrink or crack.

Famowood wood filler was much easier to work with than Elmer's. It went on smoothly and was easy to sand, Drying time was fast. Having various color options was a bonus. It's too bad that this product is not available in more home centers.

Best match for red oak! Better than others that we’ve tried.

This is the best filler I’ve ever used. I’ve used countless tubs of this stuff on all kinds of wood products. Used multiple different shades for different woods with no issues. The latex is the best drying and easiest sanding I’ve found. Would highly recommend this famowood product.

This is my favorite filler to use when building cabinets (I’m a cabinet maker). It goes on smooth and is the perfect consistency. It sands easily when dry and stays where it is supposed to. It’s good for filling nail holes and cracks but not for anything structural.

I have been using Minwax wood filler and always hated it. I tried this product and really like it a lot. I like the creamy, waxy texture while applying it. It is very easy to fill holes and cracks. It dries quickly and sands very easily. It accepts stain and looks great. It's just a little darker than natural red oak.

Ich habe damit Holzwurm Löcher und Gänge in meinen Dielen gefüllt, das ganze hat sehr gut funktioniert. Von der Verarbeitung würde ich dem ganzen 5* geben. Leider hat der Rest in der Dose in nicht mal 4 Wochen geschimmelt. Es ist so gut wie unmöglich das ganze nach Anbruch luftdicht zu verschließen. Bei einer weiteren Dose habe ich Frischhaltefolie direkt auf den Rest gepackt, mal sehen ob das Ganze so besser hält. Also, tolles Produkt aber rasch verbrauchen.
