Good guide presented well
It's a good guide, the pieces are long and very much in the Travis picking style which doesn't suit every piece but it's a worthwhile addition to my guitar book library and one I'll keep coming back to.

The best tuition book for guitar I’ve ever had
As a strictly electric player for over 30 years, acoustic finger style baffled me.This explains it beautifully. But is NOT for the beginner. If you know your chords and play lead electric you will manage this- but it takes work & a long time! But immensely rewarding & great fun.I’m playing lines I NEVER thought I could.

Essential for acoustic guitar players!
A brilliant book by a brilliant player/tutor. The book has note for note transcriptions of the wonderful compositions that can be heard with the audio.Mark Hanson has a way of teaching that almost makes it seem as if he is there in the room with you! His instruction is clear and he covers everything that you need to know. Beginners, intermediate or even advanced players should have this book, and his other books too. You can accumulate a great repetoire of great songs, of different genres, from his books.Mark Hanson is a master of the acoustic guitar, and he is a master at teaching also. I only wish i had got this book years ago!
