Hinge holes to attach to the wood are offset and one is very close to the edge of the wood...worked fine however

Seems like a nice lock. But what wasn't clear (there is only one Q&A that comes close to mentioning this) is that when you turn the lock a full 90 degrees from open, it automatically LOCKS and requires a key to open. I'm used to, and was expecting, a lock that was similar to other ones I've used (Home Depot) that let you turn the latch open and shut, but then went into a locked mode only when you actually locked it, with a key. If you don't want this to automatically lock, I guess there is no way to configure that. (I wrote to the email in several other answers, but got no response.)

Adds a little more security for my outbuilding. Not much you can do to stop a thief but I have an alarm trigger in there and a 12 ga 000 buck. That helps

Good for a dresser drawer or something small to keep kids out but that’s about it! Added it to a door and tested it! Well a flaw is the holders for the pin are weak and bend out causing the pin to drop. I was just going to weld it but for the money I spent I can have a well built one here. Seriously losing faith in all this stuff that’s being sold on here.

I really like it..im using it for my shed much better than the old combination locks and makes it harder for intruders to get in
