Used mine for outdoor projector!
Was looking for a quick disconnect for an outdoor projector that is used under my sunroom. Couldn't find anything for that actual application, so I found this monitor mount that worked perfectly. Just had to drill a few extra holes and I was up and running!

Great product!
I brought this product to be used on a TV screen vith VESA mount for my daughter TV during long car trips.It does exactly what is expected, it is robust and works like a charm to lock/unlock the TV.I give 4 stars because the locking shall be activated manually, there's no spring to lock it automatically once the tv is set in.

Gets stuck too often
I like Ergotron monitor arms in general, but Ergotron needs to rethink the design for this quick release mount.It gets stuck way too often and too easily. I just strugged over 10 mins to release it, to no avail.It would have been much faster and easier to unscrew 4 thumb screws without this product.
