This is an excellent quality trash can - thick and sturdy. Its slim design makes it easy to find a place for it in a crowded garage. We discovered that the black 33 gal. trash bags from Costco fit very well. The ones sold for this can on Amazon are only 23 gal. I'm not sure how they could be large enough. Just be sure to read the review for the LID that goes with this trash can. The reviews are not good and our experience was terrible. We will just cover the can with plastic bag until a better solution can be found.

This is a very nice trash can for my kitchen. It’s sturdy and tall, fitting perfectly with the 32-inch trash bags I usually buy. It holds a lot of trash, which is great for a busy kitchen, and the durability really stands out. Definitely a solid choice for a high-capacity trash can.

Someone recommended this can to me. After years of cans that look dirty & overflow (no matter how often you clean or change them), I finally paid a little more for something a thousand times better than average trash cans. This can is thick and sturdy but not heavy. It in no way is in danger of tipping over. It uses 30-33 gallon bags. The head of the bag fits at the top in such a way as to not ever have the bag slip down into the can. My counters are high and this is basically counter height or in my case a little below counter height. It makes it easier to wipe crumbs into it. It uses more of the bag, looks cleaner, neater, & takes up less room. You won't regret getting this can. Funny thing for me to say I love a trash can but it just does the job so much better than average cans. I only paid a little more for this can and got a really great buy in the process because trash stays in the can, neat, tidy, & out of the way.

Simply the best slim and tall trash cans on the market. We loved our first one so much that we bought a second one in red. Gorgeous red, worth the extra penny. We use the 'Amazon Basics Multipurpose Drawstring Trash Bags, Unscented, 30 Gallon, 50 Count,' and they fit perfectly in them. Tight around the top and long enough to cover the entire inside. Also, we got a 'Swing Lid' made by Rubbermaid for the one we use on our kitchen island. I wish they made them in red so we could get one for our red can. Highly recommended, worth every penny; these will last for decades.

I wanted to improve my trash situation to integrate a better recycling system. I cleared out space in the lower half of a tall kitchen cabinet and bought two Slim Jims, a black one for garbage and the blue one for recycling. Together, they fit perfectly in the space. Lots of thoughtful features: handles, bag vents, slits to anchor bags, etc. Very well designed. And they fit 30 gallon bags perfectly. When you fold the top of that size bag around the top, it's easy, but hugs so it will stay put. One of my biggest gripes with cans is how often they don't work with standard bag sizes. These do. They are built to last and solve a common space issue. I also recommend buying the top. It's a little pricey, but rounds out a great product. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! PS: A couple people here left one star reviews because they felt the ad was misleading. They expected to receive four. I can only guess a former version of Amazon's page gave that impression, or they both misread it similarly (or they were both from 1 really angry person leaving reviews under different names:)...doesn't matter. Those ads were about squabbles with Amazon and not about the quality of the item. The product itself is great. So understand you are only getting one for the price and ignore the comments.
