Love, love, love this Maidenform body briefer-wear your own bra. It’s my go-to for slimwear, perfect for smoothing and shaping under any outfit. The fit is amazing, providing just the right amount of support and comfort. I’ve tried others, but this is by far one of the best. The only other brand I truly love as much is ShaperMint. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable and flattering slimwear!

My theory about control wear is there are two types of customers: the first being some that need minimal shaping and compression, and the second being the type that really need firm control and shaping. I fall into that second category. I'm overweight, 35, had two kids and nursed both of them. So things are all out of control with my shape! I started wearing shape wear 10 years ago after a cesarean and most jumpers were serious business, stiff, sometimes had boning and paneling, and extremely uncomfortable, especially on the shoulders and crotch. So I'm pretty used to the discomfort, but it has always been worth it to dramatically transform my figure. This item offers very firm control with minimal discomfort. The crotch is wide and does not cause any discomfort and the fabric is dense and high quality with very little give. It is a bit short in the torso ( I'm 5'7" with pretty average torso length) but a good pro tip is to make sure the back is pulled all the way up- not doing so can cause the whole bodysuit to pull down and feel too short. I am extremely happy with this purchase!!

So I ordered this in 2 different sizes, XL (My normal top size) and XXL. I ordered 2 sizes so I could have one for more casual wear, just for "smoothing" and one of sucking in. Though I honestly could have gone up another size. The first time I put this on it was a disaster. It got all rolled up and I got stuck. Thankfully my friend was there to help my shimmy into it. TIP: step into and pull it up by the straps so it doesn't roll. Goes on easily after that.It's nice that it comes undone so you can use the bathroom without sliding the whole thing down. The closure is just like a bra. Really easy to undo. However, redoing it, especially if you have a bit of a belly (credits to my mom bod) like me, is more difficult. The clasps keep everything sucked in and when you undo them the thing springs up and it's hard to shove all of your fat back in there. So I try to avoid liquids when I wear it.Which brings me to my next point, it actually is pretty comfortable to wear. I have another one without the straps and it has elastic at the rib cage instead that gets very uncomfortable very quickly. My ribs hurt for days afterward. This one doesnt. I wish the straps were longer though. They're a little too snug on my shoulders. And for some reason they are kind of at an angle so I can't cover them up with a tank top. Definitely something I'd only wear with a short sleeve shirt (or anything with more coverage) so you can't see them.I wouldn't wear this every day, but I feel like I could if I really wanted to. I don't like to be binded. I don't like to wear bras. I don't like to wear underwear. I don't like socks. And I really don't like shoes. So that is just me. It's great if I want to wear a dress and don't want to be super lumpy loozing or if I want to squeeze into some prepregnancy shorts or jeans or something.It makes me feel good while I move toward my weightloss goals. So Yay to summer clothes and looking 20 lbs lighter.

I recently ordered a Vedette body shaper that is similar in appearance to this... and let me just say I regret that purchase entirely. Feeling sort of wary of purchasing a body shaper online, I finally decided to just bite the bullet and TRY this one... why not, right?Let me just say... I will never purchase another brand of body shapers again. This is perfect... and I mean PERFECT. The design is amazing, it flattens and shapes while still being comfortable. I have been progressively losing weight, and I bought this shaper in the hopes of making everything appear taut while I am working to make it that way. This does the job and then some.If you are in between on which body shaper to get... I fully recommend this one.One thing I will say is to refer to their size chart. I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly, although it may seem a little tough to get on the first time. It's actually very simple to get on and comfortable to wear.There are three hooks at the crotch area which need to be undone (obviously) when using the restroom. I didn't find those too difficult, but be warned about them if you have a weak bladder... you may need to take some precautions. The hooks work like a typical bra hook would.Also, if you plan on wearing this shaper for a full day make sure you adjust the straps to where you need them. I forgot to adjust them and wore this for an hour until I finally thought "Ouch! These things are digging into my shoulders." After adjusting them - problem solved.

I wear a 10 in clothing but have a tummy. I bought 2 sizes--medium and large. I'm keeping them both. The Medium fits very snugly, takes a bit to wiggle into, but holds me in a lot and is not uncomfortable once it's on. The Large is perhaps a little less slimming but not quite so snug. On both, I had to let the adjustable straps out to the widest amount, otherwise the straps were too tight. I have yet to test these out in an hours-long situation, but I think they will both do the job without being constricting. I love the fact that you can wear your own bra with them. And because they have a high waist, they definitely work better than just slimming panties which create a roll above your waist that defeats the purpose--yes, your tummy get flatter but there's another unsightly bulge above it! I bought these based on other reviews. I do not think they guided me wrong. They are flexible but slimming at the same time. Doesn't feel like you're wearing a corset!
