The Perfect Podcasting mic stand for a small space
I have a podcast and was looking for a mic stand that held a sizable microphone that was over 2 lbs, the EV RE320. I wanted something for a small desk that didn't take up a lot of room and provided a smooth swivel to made me feel like the mic was well supported and agile during my broadcast. The Stage Rocker mic stand fit the bill so nicely. I must have looked at at least 5 other versions online, but noticed the price of the Stage Rocker was half the price. I was skeptical because I noticed some reviewers said it was not that study, but for the price why not give it a shot. When I first tried it, I did not cock the mic stand backward so that the mic was positioned upward (the correct was to position the mic). I tried keeping it horizontal and it tipped a bit. Positioning it the correct way like the picture on Amazon is the way it should be and it ended up being an extremely sturdy product with a weighty base that provided everything I needed to feel secure with an expensive microphone for my talk show. PROS: - You can't beat the price. - The smooth swivel made me feel in control. - It holds nice a weighty radio mic and the base offered good support. - Small and compact for small spaces like a podcast on a desk CONS: - Even with a nice weighty base, I still wish it was just a bit heavier. - The swivel is really nice and smooth, but you can't be too rough with how you move the stand. I was provided a Stage Rocker mic stand to provide an honest and unbiased review of the product. Stage Rocker Powered by Hamilton SR610111 Bass Drum/Table Top Boom Mic Stand

Just a little light.
While others have written poor reviews and I would as well if parts were missing. However, everything arrived as it should have and worked like a charm. The only thing is the base is not heavy enough for a normal dynamic mic. It is close, but if you extend the arm all the way, it will fall over with a slight breeze. For what I need it for, interviewing guest at my desk for my podcast, I can place a counter weight on it and remedy that issue. I will end up getting a desk mount for it though then I wont have to worry about it.

Slightly smaller but does the job of a kick drum mic stand.
It is a fine stand. A little smaller than some other kick drum mic stands. It works and does the job.

Nice value, very portable.
These are a bit smaller and have a lighter base than a similar-looking Pro Line brand model I own, but that's actually ideal for me, as I prefer the portability. Technically this makes them a bit less stable, but for holding a mic it works fine. Otherwise the quality is good and the price is excellent.

Ordered this from amazon.ca and got it in two business days. This is an awesome mic stand. Very sturdy. I use it for a bass drum, but I could see this work really well in all sorts of applications. The base has little rubber pads to avoid any ground vibrations from getting picked up by the mic.

works good, I've got a cat and it never fell or gotten out of balanced and I even spray painted it to fit my aesthetic better and its been a while and its still in perfect condition. love how adjustable it is and how it doesn't ruin my desk like the other desk mounts I've gotten before

(EN) I installed an Audio-technica AT2020 + genuine-manufacturer shock mount + genuine-manufacturer metal pop filter, but when the microphone mount is extended to the maximum, it cannot support the microphone and falls over. If you add a weight to the base or fix it with tape, you can use it somehow. Other than that, there is no problem. Although it may not be the intended use, I am using it on a desk for games. If a microphone arm (the type fixed by turning a screw and clamping a tabletop board) is difficult to install, this would be an option.
