cheap and time will tell.
the attachment is the only concern. If you are putting this in a bucket with gravity drain..... you will use the plastic washer for sealing. You need to buy a nut for inside the bucket to go with the washer.

Requires low pressure input
The cups and the plungers are a great concept. I had one that had a bad oring seal. I have reduced the pressure to 25 psi and they still leak. But when they work they are nice to have.

Chickens do not know what to do when it dries up
I have to manually move the valves by hand for water to trickle down. The chickens have no idea how to make the water flow, it was bone dry every time I check it.

Wish they would have worked
So, I hate to bash but if these are designed for chickens, I must be missing something. I had just used them for the first time in my coop the other night. Not under pressure but gravity fed by a 55gallon barrel. Well thru the night one of the birds must have knocked one of the bowls off(which don’t lock on tight at all) and I found out that the yellow tips are merely pressed into place being held only by the loosely fitting bowl. Anyways I come home the next day to a flooded coop and one terrible mess. Not to mention, 5 out of the 12 would over flow the bowls and drip cause the seal is not tight. Great idea but bad product all round. I put hose clamps around the cups to hold them and soliconed them everywhere. Haven’t tried them yet so hope it works.

Wonderful Product!!!
So much easier to water our chickens, turkeys, ducks, & Guineas. I took a bit for them to understand how to use them, but once they got the hang of it. It has been wonderful not having to carry the heavy water jugs. I would highly recommend buying these drinkers.
