Napa CC 15" PHALAENOPSIS Drop-in, 3x12x18 Inches

I bought this because it was so much less expensive than the other silk orchids I had looked at. I was pleasantly surprised. The blooms, roots and leaves are very realistic and well-made. The base is about 3 inches by 3 inches, and about 4 inches tall/deep.The stem and individual blooms are not wired and bendable. If you need to rearrange to stem or flowers, you have to carefully heat them with a heat gun or powerful hair dryer, then bend them into the desired shape. Once they cool, they stay where you want them.The reason for four stars, not five, is that the base is VERY difficult to modify. It is covered with artificial moss, but beneath that is concrete. (Seriously -- concrete. Not plaster.) If you intend to use this in a container you already have, be certain it fits. It took an hour of careful work with a hammer and chisel to whittle this down to the size I needed.

I kill orchids. I just do. I can grow anything else, but orchids hate me. This is a perfect alternative and no one is the wiser. Even me. Sometimes I look at the orchid and think to myself- dang you and your green thumb could feed the world and then I remember people don’t eat orchids (I suppose) and my orchid is faux. Then I congratulate myself again for stopping my senseless cruelty to orchids and buying this lovely and real-looking beauty. Go me.

I needed an orchid. But a faux one. Some I looked at were so fake and plastic. This one is simple and elegant. It doesn't have any strange curling stems and the flowers are not a bright brass color but a calming simple white. Looks very natural and almost understated... exactly what I wanted. I like the fact that I can use my own pot of my choosing. It is on the smaller side (perfect for me) so be aware you may need to "bump" it up a bit in a pot. I will be doing this myself, by adding some floral foam and using my superglue gun to add some moss to fill in the gaps and then it will be perfect. You don't need to be overly crafty to do this.

I am very happy with these faux orchids. I purchased three of them for a display in my living room. They look very realistic. The leaves are a little flat and shapeless but I followed the brilliant advice of one of the reviewers and I used the heat from a hair dryer to change the shape of the leaves. I used high heat for a few seconds and then pulled, twisted and rolled the leaves into various and natural positions. Very happy with this purchase and will likely buy more. (There was no cement on my orchid bases as another reviewer mentioned.) I popped them into my small pots and added some moss on top. Beautiful.

I bought this for office decor to fill an empty pot in a corner that gets very little light. My boss stares at it every time she passes by like she wishes it was in her office. It looks and even feels very realistic and, as another reviewer said, if you heat it up carefully you can bend and shape the stems, leaves, roots, etc. Very happy with this purchase and came back to see what else this company makes.

I like orchids but they bloom so rarely and for too short of a time. I hate buying plants a new (it get's expensive) and disposing of the already bloomed flower, especially when knowing they could bloom again. I don't care to wait that long though so I would end up buying another. I bought this orchid to have when I didn't care to purchase a new flower, which I have gotten quite use to having in a particular spot. I put it in the same jar I would keep my real orchids. Up close you can clearly tell they are very much artificial. Though afar they work for the look I intend. Visitors don't seem to notice the difference or havn't mentioned my change so for the occasional use, I would say it was a good purchase.

Very realistic! I was getting tired of replacing my flowerless orchids every few months. I saved one of my favorite orchid containers and replanted this artificial one, using the most filling from my live plant too. I wish I would have taken a side-by-side comparing live vs artificial. The artificial is beautiful and looks very real!

These would be amazing and 5 stars if the flowers sat right. They are upside down (have tried to correct them but they spring back). It is not serious for where I have these as they are not too noticeable but if you plan to place them where it would be obvious that they are upside down and therefore fake, don't get these ones. Having said that - if they were the right way round, these flowers would be perfect - they look (and even feel) real and I love that they are on the small side. I have 3 placed in an orchid planter with Spanish moss and they would look like the orchid arrangement that I replaced (which were real) except for the upside down flowers!
