Good for occasional/light use.
I work part time for a fireworks company. This does a good job keeping the sparks off, however, the material is thinner than many other hoods. My last show I had a few embers which burned through. This does its job at keeping you safe, but if you are looking for good protection from constant sparks and falling embers, look at a slightly thicker hood.

I was able to rob a few stores and they never even knew it was me!! I completely recommend it.

FAR from soft! and very hot!
This thing is terrible. It is very thick and scratchy and super hot! Like a polyester blend t-shirt. Not for summer or any season for that matter!

Cover neck and not too heavy for Singapore's weather
Used it for head cover as I'm a muslim girl in oil&gas industry in Singapore. Fabric is not heavy and suitable for Singapore's weather without being too thin. It has extra fabric at the bottom that covers the neck totally inside or outside my collared uniform.Not sure how long this will last me as I've used for few days but overall was a good buy.Not sure if it'll still be as good for those in the colder climates .

Thin and stretched quickly
These are ok I'm a welder and this does help in the cold weather. It isn't very thick so wind blows through yet. The face hole stretched out pretty quickly also.

Really a nice FR!
Comfortable FR! Not for winter more for summer time. Either way you won’t be dissatisfied with this purchase.

Good and breathable.
Perfect for professional welders, doesn't insulate like nomex does. Is decent quality, it will last awhile but it's not the same durability as leather

Great Product
I use this hood for wild land fire fighting. its not to heavy.
