I'm really happy with this purchase, especially for the price. It has a nice wide mouth for easy cleaning. I purchased the white version but in retrospect I I think I would prefer the black. I tested this against my stainless steel stovetop Kettle using a high output gas burner and one liter of water which is about the right amount for my French press. The electric kettle brought the water to a rolling boil in 5 minutes, while the stove top kettle brought it to a rolling boil in 6.5 minutes. So, the electric kettle is definitely faster and frees up my stove top.

I've been on the lookout for a "fast kettle" - I saw a glass one at a shop a few years ago where the lady put in water cold, and it took about 2 mins to boil. I was fascinated! I should have written down the brand. Anyway, this ain't it. This kettle arrived in very weird packaging - no branding, the foam inside was somewhat dirty.... But regardless it looks nice, functions nice, the LED blue light is nice. I put in 1.25L of cold water and it took 6:31 to boil fully. I thought that was a long time..... But its ok. I just wouldn't call it a "fast boil".

I purchased in Oct 2019 - checked my Amazon orders - and the heating element (I presume) died on 13 May. It just sat there with the blue light and and nothing else. Now I am a heavy user on kettles but only 8 months is not good.

I purchase this "Harbor" electric kettle on Feb, 2020. it was working fine until yesterday Mar 30, 2020 . The thermosshutdown auto switch not function any further. the unit was warranted for its quality, the defect is hazel and could danger or damage further, demand a replace working unit or refund the full amount of purchased price. "Amazon" should contact the manufacture or seller to reflect customer's compliant and need some action, wait for response from Amazon, Thanks.

I use this on a daily!!! I’m such a tea drinker and this is my favorite it’s super fast and I love the little strainer it has built-in (so you can put tea straight in there or coffee)In the mornings when I am in a hurry this heats up water SUPER fast! And the blue light it pretty to look at as well!

As someone that uses a kettle 3-4 times per day this electric kettle is awesome! I have to replace our stainless stovetop kettle yearly due to rusting. This year I decided to try electric. I love being able to see the cleanliness of the glass and I do not miss running from the other room to turn my screaming tea kettle off. This kettle is perfect in my opinion.

Brings water to a boil before you can get a cup and tea bag ready. Wish I had purchased one long ago no need for stove top kettle and long wait time

I love this water heater EXCEPT that the metal bottom rusts, which I assume is adding metals to my boiled water. I wish the metal could be the base and the water container could be entirely glass.
