Much too BIG
The end result was rather spoilt by it being much too big. I took my measurements and chose the pattern accordingly but it really is much more than ample. Luckily it's not a garment that needs to be properly fitted but would still have been better smaller. I advise others to take a smaller size than they usually would. Apart from that the pattern is easy to follow and gives a nice result. Would like to make again in a smaller size.

I bought this a couple of years ago .I was a beginner sewer I had to buy it twice cause I bought it in a small bought the second one so now I am good to sew😂😂😂Once I understood hard patterns from easy this is simple as the Dickens to make Those dresses are my to sew it up and wear list Make sure you know your size if your a beginner.Thank you for multipattern.I scour Amazon 4 them. Recommend..Yes just think in different fabrics and you got new out fits.May the stitches be with you.

Need to make a caftan, this is the pattern you need!
Its caftan sewing party throw back to the 70s weekend for me and the girls. This pattern was a must have. Glad Butterick is still making it! Pattern instructions are always kind of wacky but these are pretty basic and simple to follow.
