Great clutch, improves delay / hat slosh

This is the last hi hat clutch you'll ever need. I always had to watch my setup to see that it stayed like i needed it to. With this, i know it's right where i set it. Perfect!

A lot of thought has gone into this clutch to make it incredibly simple, low profile, and functional. I'm embarrassed to say that I was gearing up for a new hi hat stand because the action on the one I've been using just didn't "feel" right after so many years. I decided to try a new clutch instead and I'm glad I did. Saved a load of money and what I thought was a warn out stand is now performing optimally.

I played years and years without knowing this was even a thing. I've always had an issue with the hi hat clutch. After about 2-3 songs I'd have to tighten the bottom nut of the clutch. This solved that problem, while also letting you adjust the "wash" with the top 2 nuts. I haven't tried it out yet (gig this weekend), but I can tell it's going to solve that problem! Priceless imo.

Fit perfectly on my DW 9000 HH stand. I especially like that the bottom locks down in a set position which forces the cymbal to sit right in a smooth spot on the metal shaft. Because of this the cymbal is not worn down by the metal threads. Aside from that, it works like any other clutch. Good quality metal construction and large firm felt washers.

Solid construction. I've owned mine for many years with no issues. Recently lost one and bought a replacement. Worth every penny.
