my step son is 8 going on 9 and not sure how tall he is, but he is tall for his age; i'm 5'4" and he comes almost to my shoulders...would this be good

Hi Jessica,He will be fine be sure to get him a helmet, gloves and knee pads as when they first learning how to ride that is the first thing to hit the ground when they crash. You will want to get the extended warranty as the back wheel assembly goes out. Both of my boys have gone out and they are 7 and 8 and weigh less than 70 lbs each.
