Sugar Women's Tia Tall Shaft Riding Boot with Buckle and Woven Wraparounds

(Writing a review on my hubby's account)My boots arrived today, and I love them! I will warn you that they have a rather tall shaft. I have long legs, and the top of the boots bump the bottom my knee. They also hit me in the back of the knee when sitting. If you have average or shorter than average legs. The boots may be over your knees. The boots fit me perfectly, but I have narrow feet and small calves (13.5"). They may pinch your toes a bit if your feet run wide. There is a little space in the calf area, but not a lot. So wider calves would have an issue. They look high quality, especially for boots in the lower price range. I took 1 star off, because the soles are rather uncomfy as is. I added a thin insert, and it much improved their comfort level.

Comfortable with minimum break-in time. Seem to be made fine for the price I paid. Cute little details and a nice brown.

The shoe fit, itself, is mostly accurate. I wear a size 9. I ordered a 9 and they fit. The calves are tight. I have pretty average legs. Not over weight or under weight. Most of the time the boots I order are too big on my legs. these are very snug and I'm only able to wear with leggings, possibly leggings.

Perfect for my skinny calves!I have long legs but they're SO skinny I always look like I'm wearing "pirate boots" but not in these!The foot area was a bit tight but I'd read that in other reviews so I ordered a shoe stretcher and left it in the foot area for several days.Also to get your foot IN the foot area your feet have to be super skinny too as the top of the foot area isn't too roomy.I honestly have "Olive Oyle" feet so they fit in but only with a medium thickness sock...if I had thick socks on I don't think they'd fit.They are super cute though and I had many compliments the first time I wore them so I'm keeping them

I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9, and read the reviews, so I ordered the 8 1/2. Great fit, and SUPER CUTE! The color is perfect. So many grey boots are light grey, and I wanted the darker charcoal color. They are just right around the calves...I cannot STAND the "wide calf" boots! These are wide enough to wear jeans inside the boot, but not tight. (I have muscular, but "normal size" calves.) They look more expensive than they are. I get compliments on them whenever I've worn them. They get mistaken for leather (which I wish they were, but no one seems to want to make boots out of leather any more...). They seem to be well made, so hoping they will last a good while. We shall see! Very happy with the purchase!

Got them for everyday use around house & garden. They don't really look like leather, they look fake. They don't breath, they make your foot sweat but they have sturdy soles & heel. They work for raking leaves & other daily chores, they are very sturdy & well made & fit true to size..

These boots were so comfortable. I wore them straight out of the box on a long trip. Changing planes, running through the airports. I wore them all day long & my feet didn't hurt at all. I was very surprised. New shoes usually need to be broken in. Not these!

Love the boots for the price. Looks like genuine leather with nice details. Fits my calf great. Comfortable. Runs a little big. I am normally a 7 or 7.5 so I ordered a 7.5 based on the Amazon size chart. They are a little big and probably I could’ve ordered the 7. Now I have to buy thick socks, which is not a bad thing!
