Obihai addresses customer issues, fixes problems. Device works well. A lot of machine for relatively little money.
update 12/31/15. Obihai fixed the speed dial issue, now you can update speed dials using the normal obitalk interface. update 11/24/15. I got it configured with one Jive line, one Anveo line, two google voice lines. Jive was difficult but that was mostly because I had to reconfigure a setting on my routers. Voice call is still excellent. However I am removing two stars (was five stars til now) because (1) I have so far spent about 3 hours configuring this phone and I can't do speed dial, and (2) after I spent hours configuring the phone it reverted to settings I had never configured, disabling about 15 - 20 speed dials I had looked up and installed in the device one by one. Also the "music on hold" feature which I spent at least an hour on that one single feature does not appear to be working. I tried with exactly the configuration mentioned in their 300 page manual written by some f***ing engineer. After it didn't work using that setting their tech support person emailed me and told me to use the setting in the manual, which had not worked although I tried it (and by the way I explained that fact in my email requesting help). Tech support is not real time--you send an email to tech support and if they feel like it they respond. Sometimes they respond with an answer that helps, more often they send a non-answer. It is impressive that the Obi1022 connects to google voice so easily but when you call tech support you do not get openly snotty kids who sneer at your inability with expert configuration, however it DOES seem as if you are getting people who are ALMOST openly snotty and contemptuous of your inability to configure their device. I cannot configure speed dials without logging into my obitalk expert configuration panel. Are you kidding me? I can buy a phone from 25 years ago and configure speed dial in about 10 minutes. If I have a question I can lookup their manual online and resolve my question in a few minutes. So don't you think you should make this device a little bit more user friendly? I logged into the expert configuration panel and looked at every single setting and I did not see anything plainly marked speed dial. It is important for me to be able to call about five or six different people at least without looking up their numbers. And I can't justify spending another two hours trying to worship this stupid plastic device on my desk in order to coax out a speed dial. I'm probably going to buy a replacement. The phone is high quality, but high maintenance. original review: I really like it. I have not fully figured it out yet, but I have 3 google voice lines and one anveo line going to it, and there is room to use it with several more. Anyway it's great and I intend to cancel the anveo line next year (I already paid like $40 or $60 for this year). I am a solo practitioner and I like to have a voip phone because I feel like I'm competing with the big boys :). The call quality is pretty good. Not incredible but I really don't care. Anyway what I really care about is how consistently the device works, and so far it appears to be working very well. I have it connected to a bluetooth headset using the obibt device. If I had no money pressures I would just buy the top of the line obihai phone, because it's only like $40 more than this phone.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Bought this to be a home office desk phone and I'm using a google voice number to operate it. Super easy install and setup and I absolutely love it. I've been using it daily for a couple of months now and the quality is first-class. I do a lot of conference calls so I've used the handset, the speaker phone, and a wireless ear piece. All function perfectly and have great sound quality. All my google contacts easily downloaded to the phone and i set up my speed dials. I've owned other Obihai products in the past and this purchase certainly holds up the the quality I've come to expect. Highly recommended.

Quality phone for Google Voice with excellent speakerphone
Good office phone for Google Voice and other providers. My business number now rings my desk instead of my mobile, and calls inside the US are currently free with Google Voice. Feels like a solid device and the speakerphone sounds great both ways. Worth the investment. Pro-tip: To dedicate one of your unused line keys to speed dial your Google Voice voicemail, enter your device's basic configuration from your OBiTalk dashboard and under "Configure and Label Your Line Keys", set the desired line key to "Speed Dial" "Auto", give it a name like "Voicemail", and set the extension to "sp1(12225551234)". Replace the number in parens with your 1-prefixed Google Voice number, and replace sp1 with sp2 through sp6 if your Google Voice is configured on a secondary Service Provider slot (see attached image). Select "Save". Your phone should quick reboot and your Google Voicemail is now only one button press away. Pros: - Works with Google Voice. Place domestic calls in the US for free. Free three-way calling. Free voicemail. Keyword: free. - One touch call forwarding. Leaving the office and rather take calls on your mobile? Tap one button and be on your way. - Excellent echo cancellation on speakerphone. Multiple people have claimed they did not realize they were on speaker. - Good overall call quality. - Feels like a quality product. Nits: - Handset will not balance between ear and shoulder. Forget it. Use speakerphone instead. - Softkeys do not press down evenly (rock to one side or another) and have too much resistance; easy to accidentally dial a digit twice. If you often place calls requiring key entry (conference and automated lines), this is probably a con. Would prefer plastic keys with better pressure feedback. - Set up is somewhat technical. Cons: - Configuration can be done in three places, the OBiTalk website, local IP access to the phone itself, and on the phone. The former overrides the latter two. I ended up with most config via OBiTalk and some minor tweaks locally, where OBiTalk config didn't work for me. Would be nice if these services would at least fully sync settings bi-directionally.
