I like the smell and the shine that it gives. It gives a decent hold on the hair . I only purchased for my edges. I don't have locs or braids.

I used this to do my Marley twists. it has a good hold for parting, not too greasy and not too thick that the twists would be stiff. it has a noticeable cocoa butter scent to it. it doesn't leave a white cast

My new favorite braiding gel! It’s gives better grip than shine and jam and it doesn’t leave any white residue. I haven’t used this as an edge control, but it works beautifully for twists and braiding styles, and smells great!

This is one of the best hair gels I have ever used. Lays my edges so well and helps me braid with easy. The shine it provides it’s absolutely amazing. It doesn’t leave my hair moisturised even when I take down my braids I still feel my hair feeling oily and greasy. It’s great value for money only down side it’s the white stuff it leaves after a few days
