I have had this mat for a few weeks now and have been using it for my daily home practice and I absolutely love it (so does my cat!). It has really good grip and has got just the right amount of cushioning, making any pose that involves putting weight through my knees so much easier. It smells great too. It is quite a bit heavier than my previous mat but not a problem at all. Love the little extras such as the bag and the strap. I would have given this product five stars but I was disappointed to find the mat wrapped in plastic (tissue paper would be better) and the box it come in was stuffed with bubble wrap (which I will reuse). Hopefully this little negative point could be addressed. Would certainly recommend as it is a great quality mat at a great price.

When I first received my mat I was really impressed. Unfortunatly, the mat bag is of poor quality. I have only had my mat and bag a short time and have used the bag only to carry the mat. It has completely ripped at the top and a zip has gone, it is in usable now. Again, all that was in there was the mat so it should be fit for purpose. Also the mat started to get slippery and no longer slip free after around 12 hot yoga sessions.Aesthetically the mat is great, it's comfortable and unroll perfectly but unfortunately it has not remained non slip.

The mat is super. It is quite hard which I like. So if you want softness you'll be disappointed.The bag that comes with it is not strong enough for the relatively heavy mat. Despite careful handling it is broken after 3 months. Not sure how to contact seller. I want a replacement really.

I have poor circulation and find that I can get clammy hands during yoga. My hands would always slip in downward dog and I resorted to having a towel at the end of my mat to help. I received this mat in time for a yoga retreat and so have already done several classes using it and I am in love with it. I haven't slipped once. It somehow feels soft but also firm underfoot, I feel supported yet the mat provides enough cushioning so poses that put a lot of pressure on the knee such as low-lunge don't hurt. I also quite like the smell of it! It's a slightly heavy mat but that doesn't bother me and the accessories it comes with are excellent also.

Great quality product. Nice and springy. Once you use it, you know it will last.My friends have told me it's a little on the heavy side. I don't believe so but I think I understand what they mean when you compare the weight to non cork mats.Great product, would definitely recommend if you're looking to invest in a great cork yoga mat.

Exactly what I needed. I have always struggled with slipping when doing yoga. I don't have any of that now, not even during hot yoga! Carrier bag and other accessories as fab as well. Only down side is it does smell very rubbery. I'm trying to combat that with essential oils

This is my first Yoga mat being a new be. I did quite a lot of research on what was going to be right for me.The quality of the mat is great super grippy and overall a great buy.The bag looks great and hopefully do the job even though other reviews slat it. All in all worth every penny, and hopefully years of great use.

On the picture a bag, straps and a bunch of other things were promised. But in reality, it was just the mat itself. The quality of the mat is good but they really shouldn't have raise my expectations like that if they were not going to give out the extra goodies with the mat itself. I was really hoping to get those straps. I would have gone with the dusky leaf mat, had I known this would be the case.

Ich hatte erst die Kork-Kautschuk Yogamatte von Secoroco bestellt und war mit der Matte sehr zufrieden, sie war mir mit einer Breite von 61cm aber zu schmal. Die Dicke betrug ebenfalls 0,5cm was ich optimal fand. Dann habe ich die Frenzy Bird Matte bestellt, weil sie breiter ist, aus dem selben Material besteht und ebenfalls 0,5cm dick ist. Schon beim Auspacken habe ich deutliche Qualitätsunterschiede bemerkt. Die Frenzy Bird ist leichter, obwohl sie eigentlich schwerer sein müsste, da sie breiter ist und sie hat sich nicht so hochwertig angefühlt. Die Matte hat sich an einem Ende immer etwas eingerollt, was ich als störend empfand. Die Tasche, die im Lieferumfang der Frenzy Bird dabei ist, fand ich ok, die Nylongurte zum schnüren, sahen sehr billig aus. Die Trageschlaufe zum fixieren und schnellen transportieren fand ich sehr gut. Der Yogagurt ist zwar etwas kurz, aber ok. Ich habe die Frenzy Bird auf Parkett getestet. Dort viel mir auf, dass die Matte die Kälte des Bodens ganz stark durchlässt. Das warme Gefühl, das man beim Kontakt mit Kork normalerweise hat, war überhaupt nicht vorhanden. Die Dämpfung der Matte empfand ich als schlecht. Im Kniestand zum Beispiel, war die Matte einfach nur unkomfortabel und es war schmerzhaft. Ich habe die Matte ebenfalls mit Teppich als Untergrund ausprobiert und das war eine völlige Katastrophe. Die Matte hat auf Teppich gar keinen Grip und wellt sich ganz stark und das bei jeder Bewegung die man macht. Die Yogapraxis macht überhaupt keinen Spaß mehr, weil man nur damit beschäftigt ist, die Matte wieder zu glätten. Positiv war an der Frenzy Bird, dass sie am Anfang keinen Gummigeruch verströmt hat und dass zumindest die Oberseite rutschfest war. Da ich mit der Matte überhaupt nicht zufrieden war, geht sie zurück. Das war die schlechteste Yogamatte, die ich bis jetzt getestet habe und für diesen Preis völlig überteuert.

I love this mat! It has enough padding (6'0 185 pound man) and has incredible traction even when sweaty. It makes downward dog into a restful position again because I am no longer battling with my hands sliding out from beneath me. I would recommend this mat to anyone. Fair warning though it's definitely weighty, not excessively so, but noticeably heavier than your average mat. Had to edit and dock it a star because the bag it came with fell apart after about a month and a half. Mat is still good though

I love that the materials are plastic free. Very eco friendly, and no irritating smells emanating from the mat. I find it comfortable enough, and I don't slip during my yoga routine. I do have to mention, though, that I do not tend to sweat a lot, and I do not use this mat for hot yoga. I have not used the straps as I don't need them, and my yoga studio supplies them for those you would like to use them for their routine.As for the bag - it did not last that long. It is not made to carry the weight of the mat (which is somewhat heavier than the plastic foam mats), and it ripped at the top seams. Since the price of the mat, bag, and straps is about as much as a comparable mat alone sold by other vendors, I don't mind, but if the seller/manufacturer of this mat could try to improve on that, that would be amazing.

I was skeptical on whether this matt was going to be thick enough for my knees when doing my planks or yoga as I have arthritic knees. I am pleased to say that it is thick enough and I have no issues when I kneel on it. I do find it a bit slippery when I first start my sessions as the cork doesn't really have sticking power until after it gets sweaty a bit. I think I might spritz it with bit of water as I don't do hot yoga and I don't get all that sweaty especially during my planks. Overall a great matt if you are thinking about switching to a more natural matt.

So far I am absolutely loving this mat. It is fairly heavy compared to a "normal" mat (natural rubber mats always are) and I love that this means it lies much flatter. The cork surface is soft and smooth but also grippy, and is very comfortable to be on. My partner has a different cork mat and is super sweaty and never has an issue with slipping (even in hot yoga).There is a very faint rubber smell if you actually have your nose agsinst it.The accessories it comes with are super handy. Definitely a great deal.

Absolutely adore this mat. Bought one for me and my husband and we wont ever use another brand again. Only downside ( its also an upside because it speaks to the quality) is that it's quite heavy to carry. But we dont care as the rest of the benefits far outweigh the single negative.* solid, doesn't shift during practice, non slip, doesnt get an odor. LOVE

Exactly as pictured. I wish it didn't say "frenzy bird" on it, but other than that it is a gorgeous mat. I get tons of compliments on it. It is thick and it isn't as slippery as some of the reviews I've seen. It feels so much cleaner and crisp than most mats which seems to wear a lot easier than this one. Great rubber grip on the other side too. My husband loved it as well. I might pick up a second one.

I’ve used better mats. I was really looking for joint relief with more cushioning but it didn’t reliever.Pros: minimal slipping. It dries pretty quick. The markings are useful.Cons: the surface isn’t completely smooth and I get really distracted by the sensation of there being stuff I need to remove from the mat. The carrying bag is horrible - not sure why the strap has a massive metal piece right where it meets your shoulder. The black straps should have metal loops on both ends to be a proper carrying strap.Overall I wish I had gone with a better mat. It’s not worth the price.

I really like the look of this yoga mat. I was originally worried because it is cork, and that sweat would pocket in some of the holes, but when I received it and gave it a try, I just sprayed some mat disinfectant and I'm not too worried about it now. I love this mat and it has made my yoga experience a lot better. The grip is a whole lot better then my old mat when I do hot yoga, but I also notice the grip when I do regular yoga as well. The bag is really nice and I haven't tested out the straps yet, but I'm assuming they will be great too.

Was so excited to try a cork mat because one of my friends bragged about how much they love theirs and for the anti-bacterial and natural factors. This was a great price, had good reviews and fast shipping with amazon which is why I ordered this one, I also liked the idea of the position help. I was very pleased with the way it looked it is beautiful. I read other comments that said it is heavy, which it is, but that is not a problem for me. Other reviews said how cheap the bag and straps are, which is very true if you are buying this for them options not a great idea, but this was not my case I already have a bag. I was looking for a great hot yoga mat! I want that non-slip surface which was ok in this mat... wasn't blown away but it's ok. I won't be returning it but I wouldn't give it a 5 star review either. As for durability it's very thick and I think it will hold up well. Some reviews said it lost its non slip after a bit so we will see especially as I don't find it 100% now, if I had to rate the non-slip I would put it at a 7/10.

I've had those rubber mats that were very popular but purchased this one because it is natural and without fumes - totally worth it. The mat cushions my knees and doesn't get slippery when I sweat. The only reason I gave it one less star is because it takes so long to fully unroll from original packaging. The end of the mat is still quite curled up. But I do recommend this mat.

I like everything about it, it’s exactly what I ordered! Came with the accessories described, it’s perfect size, the guide imprint is not to much , so it’s not distracting at all. It’s a very comfortable cork non slip yoga mat ! I’m no chemist so I am trusting this is all natural materials !

I like the mat itself, but why does it need to come in so much packaging?! Mine arrived in a large cardboard Amazon box, which was filled with loose paper, and then another cardboard box, and inside that the mat bag, inside that each individual accessory was wrapped in plastic and the mat itself was wrapped in bubble wrap, tons of tape, and then another layer of plastic under the bubble wrap.It's a soft mat, why does it need bubble wrap? The carrying bag should be enough to hold the mat in one box for shipping...Cork is a great renewable resource, which is a big part of why I bought it, but it kind of defeats the purpose when it comes in enough plastic to make another yoga mat.

I was really excited to get this mat from all the excellent reviews listed here, however, I think it is down to me to be honest about the mat I received. I've been practising yoga for around five years now and never have I seen a mat this poorly made. I only just opened the mat when I noticed a puncture hole (featured in the second picture) which allowed me to see through to the inner layer of the mat. Not only that but closer inspection revealed another hole, only this time it was much larger. I was really bummed because I was heading to a yoga class that very day and was excited to try it out but I was really worried that the poor quality would mean it would rip or tear or worsen the holes already in the product. I guess I have learnt not to buy cheap yoga mats online. Please don't waste your money, pay for the better quality.
