This iron gets very hot, but can be adjusted to the temp that you feel comfortable with. It helps a lot to tame frizz and leaves my hair looking shiny. This is the best one i have tried thus far and i have tried so many ranging $25-$200. Don't spend crazy money on another straightener. go for this one!

For the price, this is a great flat iron straightener! Good quality and heats up instantly, showing the temp. Also has an auto shut off, which I can occasionally forget to do.

Love this straightener! Got one for Christmas and kids broke it (yes they were being crazy) so ordered this one and live it just as much as the last!

It doesn't flatten my hair like my old Walmart wet n wild one does. I have to go over an over an it still doesn't stay flat shortly after I do it. It states to get frizzy an curly again

I have to admit, for the price, this straightener exceeds it's value when it comes to performance... I absolutely LOVE what an incredible job it does!!! Unfortunately though, after a year and a half of use, the swivel cord became an issue. If it moves a certain way, it just shuts off. I was tempted to use some glue to keep the cord in place so that it doesn't move, but reconsidered when realizing that I don't wanna mess with/interfere with anything that's electrical... So, I opted to repurchase. Other than the short life span of the flat iron (or the cord, I should say), it's a good straightener... I just hope that I don't have to purchase another one in 18 months though.UPDATE: Since posting my review, Christy from Kipozi Customer Care contacted me... Super helpful :) I was offered a replacement or refund... I opted for a refund being that I had already repurchased another duplicate flat iron. I'm changing my initial rating from 3 to 5 stars based on this... And honestly, it really is the best flat I've ever used!!!UPDATED UPDATE: Here we are a year later and the replacement has now become defective. I could leave it on for a half hour waiting for it to heat up to 340 and it'll only be at 218, give or take. I honestly don't know if it'd ever reach 340, but I don't have the time to wait around to find out. These irons are good while they last... Problem is it's not for long. I'll be purchasing a brand other than Kipozi this time around.
