Great tongs to use when taking things out of the toaster. Very reasonably priced. However, do not put them in the dishwasher— I did and they broke.

Not what I expected at all! I've jad other cooking utensils made from this same type of wood (slotted spoons and my favorite spoon for stirring brownie mix or settled lemon ade that just jas a quarter size hole in the center) they have all felt very smooth. Almost polished. This is ruff and, I feel like they would hard to clean if used and made very messy. I wouldn't want to soak them because they appear to be very porous. I will be returning and looking more carefully before making another purchase

I had to throw one out after having it for a week because as soon as it got wet it warp to a point where it was unusable. So sad because I though they were super cool when they arrived
