I am so happy with these silk pillow cases! Before this I was sleeping with satin pillow cases not realizing they were actually polyester. After getting rashes on my face I decided to look for real satin pillow cases and what a miraculous difference they made! They are great quality and the comfort they provide is awesome! They are so soft and slick that they defy gravity and help wake up without sleep creases that can lead to wrinkles. I highly recommend these.

Silk pillow cases are one of the greatest things I never knew I was missing in my life. These are 100% real mulberry silk and such a great value. I struggle with oily skin and acne and have been breaking out a lot of my face and neck lately. Little did I know it was from my pillow cases! I wash my sheets and pillow cases very regularly but what I learned is that cotton, polyester, satin, sateen, all these fabrics do NOT BREATHE. So when you sweat in the night or if you have oilier skin it gets absorbed into the pillowcase fabric and just sits there keeping contact with your skin all night. But Real Silk pillowcases are the only fabric that is truly breathable. They keep me cool and I’ve had a big improvement in my skin since I’ve switched from cotton/polyester cases.Another huge plus for these pillow cases is they also help with wrinkles. I’m a side sleeper and I used to wake up every morning with big creases down my face from my pillowcase. But with these silk pillowcases, the material is so soft and light that when I wake up now, there are no lines at all on my face. This might not seem like a big deal to some people but if you think about it you can see there’s a benefit overtime. Dermatologists say that excessively rubbing your face when you wash or pulling on your skin when applying lotion eventually contributes to sagging skin and wrinkles as you age. So if for 8 hours a night, every night, your pillowcase is creasing and pulling on your skin, and your waking up with big creases... That’s not good. But these silk pillow cases are so soft and smooth that there’s no tugging going on. It’s great for skin and hair too. I don’t wake up with frizzy or staticky hair either anymore.I was worried that due to the price, theses weren’t going to be Real silk pillowcases but they are! Which makes them such a great value too. The label clearly states they are 100% mulberry silk. The difference is clear when you seen them up close next to satin fabrics. Satin has a thicker texture and weave while the silk pillow cases has such fine fibers you can barely see any texture in them. These pillow cases have a hidden zipper and really makes your bedding look elegant and classy. Im hooked for life now.

If you’re reading this, you’re thinking you’ve stumbled upon a really great deal. Well, depends what’s a priority for you. At first glance I loved these. I would’ve given them 5 stars for the color alone. A very lovely dusty rose color. Feminine without being girly. However the feel was just a bit off to me. I compared it to my west elm 100% silk pillow (so you know that’s legit silk). These did not glide along my fingertips like my west elm pillow. I included a few pix. You can see these have just the slightest bit of texture vs the west elm fabric. These pillow cases have a nice feel and a bit of weight to them. However they aren’t real silk in my opinion. Upon inspection I found several strands I decided to put to the burn test. You can see they are not silky fine like hair. At first I thought it was the threading used for the seams, but included pix of that as well and you can see they are not the same. When lit I did get a faint burnt hair smell. However they burned to a hard plastic lump. Real silk would disintegrate to ashes. For me these are a silk blend at best, with some other synthetic material mixed in. So if you’re ok with something that is pretty, has a nice feel and weight to it, but is not 100% silk, these are a great value. For me, I’d rather put that money towards a more quality product for my peace of mind.

Very cool and pretty! They have a zipper on one end which keeps it on the pillow perfect. Soft and don't wrinkle.
