I love Border Collies and have raised and trained many. I have a lot of experience at restraining these little Houdinis! We have a Border Collie puppy, 4 mos. old. This is a perfect size for her (XS). It has two places to connect to the leash. The one on top is the standard. The one on the chest pulls her around to face me if she tries to bound ahead to take ME for a walk. It fits snugly enough that she can't back out of it nor does it chafe her anywhere. She can't turn and chew it. We leave it on 24/7 right now with a short leash to step on when we have her wait but she runs. It has plenty of extension strap as she gets larger but by 40 lbs, she will need a medium. The colors are great- the red and teal really stand out against her black and white fur in the daylight and the 'fluorescent' reflecting trim really does highlight her for traffic at night. It's well made. Better than any of the others I've examined or tried to use This is the harness you NEED for that little rascal! When we size up, we'll replace this with a larger one...probably a medium with straps snugged down.Additional note: Baby girl has grown fast. I reordered both the small and medium sized to get a correct fit. The small fit most accurately at 6 mos. What made the difference was the LENGTH of each of the three (between the neck and chest.) The weight of the buckles played a part, too. Going by the parents' size, she'll be about 35 lbs full grown and the small may well still fit for circumference, but again, the length may come into play. Each size becomes more substantial with the straps and buckles. We'll keep the medium to use down the road. I really, really dislike collars. The head jerking against the spine is just not safe for some dogs.

We bought this new harness because we have a 2 year old German shepherd mix. Her last harness, we thought was great quality. But the seams around the neck started tearing over time. So I got on amazon and started searching. First, the colors caught my eye and my dog is all black so these were going to stand out on her! I adjusted the sizing to her slim neck without any issues. It provides a hook on her back that my husband prefers to use with the leash. It also provides a hook on the chest, which I prefer to use. There are multiple buckles that help me to feel more secure when taking her for walks because I know the issue with my previous harness was the seams tearing. Its very easily adjustable, easy to put on, easy to take off, and I havent seen any wear and tear yet! Id love to buy her more color combinations in the future! For now, this one is working beautifully and I feel confident she wont get loose when shes barking and pulling wildly at every...moving..object/animal/person.

I'll admit I have a tiny dog (5 pound chihuahua) but these harnesses just do not fit, even on the smallest size. I checked the guidelines and cross-referenced with her, so the dimensions were right for her. I could get it attached to her but the bottom part (the connector part) hung low (like a U) and when I tried to take her on a walk, her leg would get stuck in it and she'd fall onto her shoulder and struggle until I pulled her out. It was real tragic because she was so excited to walk and then so scared as she wriggled around to get free. Broke my heart. All together just too clunky for her frame.Edit: Original review was one star, but I gave more stars because Diana from Phoepet customer service reached out to me to offer a full refund and attempt to help me adjust and size the harness. They also then offered me a new harness in a different style, for free, to try. I greatly appreciate the effort and I’m now using the new step-in harness.

Absolutely beautiful colors and harness. I wish I found these earlier because as my puppy has been growing like crazy, and I have been buying harness after harness which is what made me look for an adjustable one with the expense.The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because the size can be so vast it’s very difficult to get the sides the same and fitting without a lot of trials and adjusting. My puppy is at the small end of the large so it hasn’t been as easy as I would think it should be.To the seller or maker- amazing job with these color selections. I love the one I chose!

I’m have a 4year old female Cane Corso120lbs very muscularI have it in 2 different colors. I’m probably gonna order in a third color. I really like the quality. It has a tactical handle too which I feel gives me more control (she’s not exactly dog friendly) It’s very sturdy and appears comfortable- it doesn’t rub or leave marks like some of the leather ones. They have a variety of colors too which is very important for me after quality. I would love if they came out with color themes for every holiday as well as SEC spirit themes

This harness is so cute and I love the bright bold colors! I just wish the clips were made of metal! We got Albert (spot on head) Green with Red straps in a size M he weights about 28 lbs.. We got Ivan Teal with Red straps in a size XS and he weighs about 11 lbs :)) They seem pretty comfortable and plush for them.. I’ve only used them a couple times so far so hopefully they last!

This harness fits perfectly. It's a little tough to adjust the straps to the right size but this just makes it so my dog can't roll around and loosen it like the last harness we had. Reflective strips make it easy to see her in the dark. Over all its a great product without breaking the bank especially for dogs who tend to bust out of most collars or harnesses.

The harness came in and is much sturdier than expected.One thing to note: pay attention to the name of the colors and not the pictures. The pictures can be misleading. I ordered one that I thought would be purple or royal blue with pink straps. The descriptions just mentions royal blue so the straps were black.I contacted customer service on this and they got back to me and corrected it right away!5 stars to customer service.3 stars to accurate picture description.4 stars to sturdiness of the harness.Overall 4 stars

Honestly such a great harness especially for the price, fits our frenchie perfectly. I like that it has 3 buckles, its so easy to get on!

My dog is quite reactive, and pulls a lot on his walks, and as a result the friction generated causes some abrasions on his chest.

We have a puppy that pulls on lead, the new harness makes it easier. The only downside is I thought I purchased a blue colour with beige trim (for a boy) however the trim is pink. On line was difficult to see the true colour.

Cute color and good quality

I ordered an xs but received a small. Your fingers better be strong because the snaps are very difficult to open, I've received a lot of blood blisters trying to open the snaps. It's not easy putting on the harness and since I put it on about 5 times a day, it's quite annoying. My dog can move the harness in a way that she gets tangled up. The harness might be sturdy, but it's not worth the trouble.
