Guatemalan Worry Dolls in a Box

My daughter has been worrying about random things that keep her up at night. Her teacher suggested these dolls to share her worries with. The dolls are small and fit in their small box under her pillow. It works very well for her and has improved her sleep.

My daughter has anxiety especially when it comes to being apart from her Father and I. These have definitely helped. I used them as a child as well so it was nice to see that they are still around. They are just as I remember. I had two issues though. The first being the color on the outside of the wicker container that holds them was rubbing off on our hands. I asked my Daughter if she colored on herself. Then I realized I had it on my hands as well. Don't put them near anything white that's for sure. Also they have a weird smell to them. I can not place it but its strange. Almost like a chemical. I've seen other comments stating the same. Other than those issues they are exactly as described.

My nine-year-old son continues to love these. I got them for him when he was about five and this was my second purchase of them because the other ones were eaten by my dog. 😑 While they clearly didn't help my dog abstain from worries (since she destroyed them while we were away from her), they seem to truly help my son rest a little easier. And you can't beat the price! Also make a very cute gift or an add-on to a gift.

I bought these because worry dolls are mentioned in a book my students are reading, "The First Rule of Punk" by Celia C. Perez. They're perfect for showing my students what the author was writing about and giving them something hands-on from the book to look at. Also, they're just a lot of fun to have in the library.

When I was a little girl, I worried, about everything, all the time. My mother bought me a set of these and told me if I gave a worry to one of them and placed it beneath my pillow that it would take the worry for me. I believed her but over the years the dolls became lost. When my best friend started having issues in her life, I thought of these.The dolls are wonderfully made, exactly as I remembered them and they came with the lore written on a small piece of paper.The reason that I gave it four instead of five stars is because the container that they came was poorly crafted. The lid was tight and difficult to get off and would only fit back on one way and with a lot of force. I am just going to make a bag for them to go into instead of the box.

Bought these for an adult who owns his own business and has alot responsibility. Got a smile out of him. My son worried alot when he was a little boy. They gave comfort. The perfect gift for anyone who has worries.....or not. Just comforting all the same.

My son has severe anxiety at bed time. I thought these little dolls would help. And guess what, they do!! Minimal argument art bed, he tells his dolls his worries, and goes to sleep. He slept through the night last night for the first time in years!! I hope this isn't just a quick fix and he moves on from them. I see good sleep in our future! Each doll is unique, handmade, and special.

Honestly, these guys are a five star little item. I only gave it four because the package was short one doll. It only came with five instead of six.Better hope my lady friend only needs five of them, otherwise she'll turn me into a Worry Doll.

I bought these for my son - they are exactly like the ones I had 30 years ago. They are a great way to ease your little one’s mind at bedtime. He loves their tiny little outfits and the cute box they come in. Perfect size for putting under his pillow.

The dolls were all identical and were slightly unraveling. The box is hard to open and close. They worked well enough for my daughter to share her worries but they were not what I expected.

Avant d'acheter, j'avais lu les commentaires et on semblait dire que les poupées étaient souvent toutes identiques. Dans ma boite, j'avais des paires de poupées identiques. J'avais donc commande deux boîtes et j'ai mélangé les boites. Malgré cela je suis bien contente de mes poupées. Ce qui est dommage de recevoir des poupées identiques c'est que a chaque soir tu dois changer et quand c'est pareil et bien des fois tu reprends tjrs la même sans savoir

I have been buying these for years for my own son and friend's kids. They have a lovely little story and really do help when children need to release a worry but are not good at opening up to adults.
