Love the smells.My mother used to sell Rainbows and taught me How do use it properly. And I use hers all the time. If you put the water above the stob which is in the middle of the water container,it will fling water up into your motor and burn it up. Also the essential oils that you buy from the stores or salesperson are Absolutely Not!!!!! supposed to be used because they are oil based and can cause a problem with the machine. Please remember also to clean the little round fan screen on the bottom on the vacuum cleaner,for without doing so can cause a musty smell and give air to the motor

The apple blossom has a really funny smell that is not pleasant. Other than that, the rest smelled fine. And it is the exact same brand that I got from my rainbow reps for 1/2 the price!

I have an older Rainbow vacuum cleaner that someone gave me. The first time I used it, I noticed an awful smell but thought maybe it might be because it hadn't been used in a while. The smell continued with each use. I started doing research to see if other people experienced the same problem and I was glad to find a possible solution. The scents are great-they not only completely COVER the smell but also ADD a great smell to the entire house.

I love these scents for my rainbow they have been my favorites since my mom had one many moons ago. But when these arrived they were a little discolored which I didn't think much about but the scent has also faded and is not as strong as it should be. I don't know if they had been sitting for a while or what but just wasn't as strong as I am used too. Would get again if I knew that the scent would be stronger

I like the smells of the oils. Be careful if you have an oil in the vacuum and you have cat litter you vacuumed up. It get frothy
