DuraChoice 2" Utility Pressure Gauge, WOG, 1/4" NPT Lwr Mount, 60PSI GSAD2012-060UPD, OEM

This worked great with a fitting on a maple syrup vacuum system to measure know what level was at the last tap. As it was my first year trying out a vacuum system this faced quite a bit of abuse as I see it after getting another gauge that died within a day. This was out in the elements right on a tree, had from 24" of vacuum to nothing in an instant when trying a few things and survived the shock unlike another gauge that was forever dead after the same incident. That also allowed sap(water) to enter the gauge with apparently no damage. This also survived several freeze and thaw cycles without any apparent damage. How accurate this is for the price I do not know. I worked for my uses and will buy more of this one for next tapping season.

Have to edit my review. What I (and I suspect others) had wrong is the nonsensical system that is npt measurements.If you have a 1/4 inch hole, you need a 1/8 npt fitting NOT a 1/4. Makes no sense to anyone that doesn't work with it on a daily basis, I guess, but there it is.

Plug in my automotive vac gauge and get a 3.2 psi reading on a heated vac port ,plug in this unit with good threads and tfl thread sealer at the same port and get nothing. Discovered that my original tester vac gauge could give a very low accurate reading. Once I opened this unit and adjusted a little off the zero scale it worked.

I ordered a vacuum gauge for a project I am working on so that I could know what vacuum level I was drawing at any given time. I needed to achieve a specific vacuum level in order for my project to work so I was a little confused when the readings were not matching what I seemed to be observing. I checked this gauge against a known accurate gauge I have as part of a larger vacuum chamber setup and found that the gauge I was sent was not reading correctly. I let the seller know and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they shipped me a replacement right away without further questions.Thanks!!

Was exactly as described and in my opinion very high quality especially for the cost very impressed and it be a dual scale dual direction just puts it ahead in value compared to much higher priced guages

Needed to install gauge to monitor cooling system pressure and vacuum on my Jeep Grand Cherokee to isolate coolant leak. The Gauge has been performing fine and accurately measures both system pressure on run and vaccum on cool down.

I ordered 3 of these. two came with the needle stuck on at least 5 inHg right out of the box. One had a loose lens. There is absolutely no quality control.

I ordered two of these for a filter monitoring project. When they arrived I opened one box to check the quality. It looked OK. A few weeks later I went to install both gauges. When I opened the second one, it was between 5 psi and 10 psi off. Beware. Spend a little extra on a higher quality gauge if you need accuracy.
