My kids (2 and 7-years-old) love to use the bath as their own personal swimming pool and “Putty Buddies” work great. I had to separate them in half to mold better to their little ears. I tried them out first on myself before using them for my kids. The first application was somewhat challenging for me, because I didn’t cover all the outer ear openings and water seeped into my ear. But upon my second try, I made sure to snugly cover all outer ear openings and they kept all the water out - Perfectly. Removal was easy, I just pushed on the back of their ear and they 'popped' right out. And, the “Bonzai Bear” carrying case was a nice bonus to store them in. We will be using them often for swimming lessons and bath time. Overall, I appreciate that they are durable, great quality (other brands we tried didn’t fit as well and keep the water out), affordable price, bright colors, fun application, comfortable, awesome performance (i.e. they stayed in place), and easy removal. Great accessory for my entire family and I am impressed!

After my 3 year old son had tubes put in his ears, we were told to keep water out of them for a few months. The other earplugs didn't help much and would keep popping out during bath time. Those that stayed in longer were also more painful to put in. These, however, worked incredibly well. The putty is soft, yet firm enough, to stay in place without getting lodged in his ear canal. Due to the softness, the material forms a perfect seal and does not let water in. The best part is that these can be reused over and over again (just be sure to rinse them out after each use) and do not harden or lose their ability to stay in place. They work even in the swimming pool. The only "problem" I've had is that the bright colors attract his 1 year old sister and she wants to keep pulling them out of his ear. :)Would strongly recommend these for anyone who's looking for effective earplugs for their children. These would probably work just as well in adults too.

These Putty Buddies are by far the BEST ear plugs and longest -lasting I have used! One pair has lasted for months! These are great for adults, I don't know why they don't put that info in the product write-up. I swim 3 or more days a week and I have purchased several brands and some have lasted a bit of time but not like these, they are the best value for the money. Even though they cost a little more, they are worth it. Other reviews have info about them getting really sticky and you should toss them out at that point, but I just roll them into a ball and insert them carefully to get a few more uses out of them (do this only for adults). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the first package I got had a clear set in it and those didn't last hardly at all, I think it was 2-3 weeks, before they LOST the sticky-ness that keeps them in your ears and were no good. Now I see only colors in the package, so hoping to go 3 for 3 this time.

These ear plugs are so easy to use and work amazing. My son gets ear infections so easy cause he has holes in his eardrums and we love these. Keeps the water out every time!

These work well, but there are several cheaper options out there which effectively do the same thing without the "for kids with ear tubes" special labeling/marketing.

I received these Ear Plugs in the mail yesterday. The packaging was clear and self-explanatory with the directions listed on the back. Step one suggests rolling the ear plugs into a ball before placing them in your ear. I didn't do this and had no issues getting the ear plugs to mold the outer canal of my ear. After I got the ear plugs in, they did a pretty good job at keeping out sound, but not completely (I know their purpose is not to block sound, but water). I tested these in the shower and there was no water that entered my ears. They are comfortable, easy to use, easy to wear, and reusable. The case included in the package is portable and able to fit two sets of ear plugs. It's nice to have a back up pair just in case. Over all, I recommend these ear plugs to anyone trying to prevent water from entering their ears either for medical or recreational reasons.

Ok so I'm an adult, I've tried many brands and different types of ear plugs and these are by far my favorite. I travel a lot and like to brag that I can get a quality night's sleep anywhere, and these ear plugs plus an eye mask make that claim a reality for me. I've slept undisturbed on couches and through snoring roommates. I've slept through my deaf cat howling all night long. I've even used these at burning man and festivals with good success. I gave a pair to my sister so that she could sleep through my parent's snoring while traveling with them on vacation. These earplugs practically make you bulletproof. The ear plugs are of such nice quality that my mom asks me to bring a few pairs to her in Canada whenever I visit.The only downside is that these earplugs can leave a residue around the ear canal after use which needs to be cleaned off the skin after use.Pros:super comfortable, flexible, easy to moldgives you sleeping superpowersearplugs have an awesome name and come packaged with animal stickers (lol)Cons:the bright color of these earplugs can be an issue as they sometimes leave brightly colored sticky residue around the ear canal

These plugs are easy to shape and form, and will typically stay in the ear with ease. On occasion, they can fall out, especially when your child is active. They are reusable, but do tend to wear out around 5-10 uses.
