Sash Window Blind Pole Hook Polished Solid Brass

Looked everywhere for this. Takes 3/4" dowels. With the sash window lift ring, I can now easily pull open the tops of my very tall windows. Heavy-duty and easy to attach to the pole with the included screws, which made it through oak without pre-drilling.

Looks very cool, I love the curve of the pull and the perfect angle on the closer part. Beautifully designed, not quite as handy as the button style, as you have to turn it if you are in some push/pull situation, but it is very well designed. The provided screws are a bit short and small and the hook soon develops a wobble, but offset of the holes helps with this. This is a beautifully designed, simple, useful, evocative bit o' hardware.

Polished and solid brass.

Beautiful brass from England that looks like it will last for hundreds of years. Used an old mop handle (sawed off the mop part) and sanded the tip until the hook was very snug and tight. I didn't need to use the screws to fasten it because it was so tight on the pole I might have difficulty removing it. An alternative might be something used in boating that looks similar. But we like this one very much.

Had a window that was impossible to reach. With a little searching on amazon I found the hook. Picked up a longstick and put together the perfect solution. Works Great!

Works well. A few weeks lead time. You'll probably need to taper dowel to make shaft fit.

We have had new sash windows - which open, unlike the old ones - and I needed hooks, to mount on oak rods, to pull down the top windows. Ordered two of these. They are actually solid, proper brass (not foreign lookalikes), they are exactly what I needed and wanted, and came within 24 hours or so of being ordered. Amazing service. If you phone them you find it is a real, British, company with a person at the end of the telephone who is keen to help. All in all FIVE STARS ALL ROUND!!!
