Excellent EDC tool.
I have been carrying this everywhere with me since I purchased it. The diminutive size make it incredibly convenient to carry. Closed, the dime is smaller than my pinkie. Pros: The pliers are usable for small things. The blister pack blade is very useful for opening blister packs, taped boxes, etc. The pointed screwdriver tip (I think they call it a cross head driver) works great for phillips head screws, and is slightly flattened at the tip and can be used as a small flat tip screw driver. The flat tip screwdriver is effective as well. The bottle cap opener is great and is super handy to have with you all the time. The tweezers work and actually stay inside the tool. Growing up I used to have several Swiss army knvies and the tweezers always fell out. The tweezers on the dime have to be pulled out. Cons: The scissors are fairly useless. In Between: The dime has a rounded blade. This is fine but I really prefer serrated or partially serrated blades. This is a preference thing as many people don't care for serrated blades. Summary: I highly recommend this tool and would buy it again if I lose this one.

Micro multitool
I lost it. Anyway, I love this little thing. It's adorable. I leave it in my survival kit, but I'm gonna use it as a Keychain now if I can find a tiny case for it. It's tiny, but mightly. It'll get small jobs done with ease. Convenient little tool. I highly recommend.

Great for time's when you can't carry other tools.
The GMD is a very light duty setup. I have been in certain situations where I could not have multi-tools with large blades in certain places. I feel naked with out my multi-tool or flashlight, and absolutely can't stand being without em in a emergency. The GMD is better than nothing even if it is light duty. Another plus is now TSA is allowing pocket tools as a carry on, please see/search the TSA info. My Leatherman Surge or Wave is my go-to tools, but when they are not welcome in certain situations the GMD is already on my key-chain setup. It looks good and very tiny. I don't know what else to say? it's a wonder product. I have some pictures shown with my paracord EDC key chain set up. Thanks Leave me a comment.

Great keychain multi-tool
This is a great little multi-tool! I'm not a big fan of Gerber pocket knives, I usually find their quality lacking (I am somewhat of a knife collector) but this little guy had all the tools I wanted in a nice small package perfect for EDC on my keychain. I was surprised by the quality. Pros: - Pliers work great and the tip is kind of sharp and meet up perfectly. The spring action is great. For pliers of their size they work great. - Scissors are sharp and don't have the axis wobble I've found on similar tiny scissors. - Fixed exterior bottle opener is great. Its nice and wide and you never have to use it twice. I've always hated the fold out bottle openers, because they take too long to deploy when you got a cold one in your hands and your thirsty ;). - Knife is good. Comes double ground which is better than the grind Leatherman puts on their small knifes, but it wasnt particularly sharp out the box. Also I don't like how the tip is shaped. Short and stubby, not pointy at all. You cant use it to pick at small things, but I guess it prevents you from breaking the tip on a toll that small. Cons - File. The file on the sides of the screwdriver is so tiny it useless. I can barely fit my nail on it, much less move it back and forth to actually file it. Completely useless. - The package opener I also found redundant because I have a knife. Why do I need a package opener when i have a knife?!? - Tweezers seemed like a good idea but they are very thin and flimsy. The tip of the pliers are sharp and pointy enough to do anything these tweezers can so again they are kinda redundant. Overall still a great little tool to have on the keychain, when I need a tool in a pinch. This replaced a Leatherman Micro because it has more useful tools.

Such a fantastic little multi-tool
I can usually solve a problem with this tiny device. It only has useful tools, no gimmicks. The files are VERY short though. Otherwise, I've used everything on it multiple times. And it feels of such quality that I sometimes just fidget with it.

My Husband's Favorite Pocket Tool
My husband is a gadget guy. He loves his big power tools but he's always on the hunt for compact, useful tools that are easy to transport and store, so when he came across the Gerber Micro Dime, he had to have it. At 2 oz & just over 3” long when folded, he drops it into his pocket every morning along with his wallet and keys. He likes it so much he's now giving them as gifts to our kids and he gave me one to keep in my car. Recently I had to open a compartment in the cargo space of my SUV that was stuck shut. Since I was away from home and traveling alone, the Gerber Dime came to my rescue. Between the pliers and flathead screwdriver, I was able to get it open without too much frustration. This little tool is versatile, compact & an excellent price. I know I won’t be without it in my car and highly recommend it to everyone. It gives my husband peace of mind knowing I’ve got one (along with all my other emergency gear) which is priceless to him, and at a price point of under $28, it’s easy on the wallet.

Great EDC mini tool
Finally a bottle opener on a mini tool that you can actually open a bottle with. Has all the tools you will generally reach for every day a dozen times a day. Nice blade that takes a razor edge, and the Blister pack opener works like a champ. Scissors are excellent and the pliers are adequate for tightening up a loose nut and for general lightweight grab and hold jobs while the wire cutters can safely handle anything up to and including a heavy duty paper clip. Just remember this is a MINI tool for MINI jobs and you won't be disappointed.

Great pocket tool
I have carried a Swiss Army Knife for decades and decided to try this one for a change. It is a great size for your pocket and has everything except a toothpick. I don’t overtax tools like this, so I don’t expect to stress it to a breaking point, so I expect it to be around for years.

Sta in tasca senza dare alcun fastidio. Prodotto di qualità. Anche dopo anni di utilizzo giornaliero funziona ancora tutto alla perfezione.

This is a great micro-multitool which disappears into your keys when not being used. The Dime is a really small, lightweight tool which has pretty much everything you'd need in a keyring sized tool. I think a lot of the negative reviews are from people who are expecting this to behave like a full sized tool. Knife - Great, sharp right out of the box Bottle Opener - Works really well, not as awkward as it looks in your pocket! Pliers - Feel solid but very thin. I wouldn't trust them to do anything more than very light work, but they are very precise and can be used as tweezers. Wire cutters - They work well on thin wire, wouldn't try them on anything sturdier. Package Opener - Works really well, I do wish they had put a can opener here instead though, its the only thing this tool's missing File/Small Driver - As other reviewers have said the file is too smooth for anything other than fingernails or soft wood and one side of it is obscured by the lanyard. the driver works well though and feels sturdy. Flathead driver - Feels as sturdy as a real screwdriver, a bit too wide for smaller flatheads but the other driver works for most of those. Could also be used as a scraper or chisel in a pinch. Scissors - Cuts all the way through, works on fingernails etc and feels solid enough for bigger tasks if needed. Tweezers - Nice to have, but a bit redundant as the pliers work so well as tweezers and are less fiddly. Basically this is all the tools you might need to pull out in your daily life in a miniscule package, you'll forget you're carrying it until you need it. It's asking too much to expect the tools to be as effective as full sized or dedicated ones but with the exception of the pliers its impressively sturdy. One last thing... buy it from amazon US and get it shipped to the UK for half the price!
