It Elavates!
We Greeks love our olive oils. I was so pleased to find this item after we moved out to the suburbs, which has no Greek stores. 😣The best words that I could use to describe the flavor that Spitiko imparts is "fruity", "brilliant" and "just slightly peppery". Spitiko is so tasty that one might be tempted to drink it. We use it as a finishing oil to dress salads, vegetables and entrees on which sprinkling a bit of oil on it is customary to uplift an entre's flavor, and to make the entre more satisfying. (So, cook with good, but less expensive, lesser quality olive oils. This oil, Spitiko, is too fine to waste it by cooking with it.)

On time but package all pressed and lightly damaged
It came all pressed and with visible damage of the recipient. Very expensive for what it is.

Excellent Olive Oil
Having traveled to Greece, I discovered the taste for mild fresh grassy tasting Cretan Olive Oils. This one fits my expectations. I use it as often as I can find an opportunity because it is so good. Have used Olive Oils from 3 Liter tin cans from Italy in the past, but this one exceeds in taste. I wish I discovered it sooner. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a mild fresh tasting oil with a pleasant aroma. No bitterness.

First order
Just opened the box the can is dented in several places, but will not harm the oil. Next Iorder additional packaging would be helpful for shipping.

Every can is damaged
I have yet to receive a can of oil that isn't dented. For the price, it should be in pristine condition.

Couldn't find this for years
I used to use this EVOO exclusively years ago, then it disappeared from where I live, no idea why. Was thrilled to find it again. Like high quality homemade stock for soups, etc., this is an essential product for cooking. Taste is subjective, quality isn't.

Spitiko olive oil
This is the second can I've ordered. This oil is very light and almost tasteless. My mother hates olives but she loves this oil. When the doctor told my dad to "eat like a Greek" to avoid further heart attacks and strokes I went straight to Amazon and studied all the various Greek olive oils. Spitiko is by far the best olive oil for us. I recommend it to everyone.
