Fantastic life story of one of my heroes of the faith, Miss A. Wetherell Johnson, the foundress of Bible Study Fellowship. Her life includes travel to many countries. She was born in England, joined her father in France, followed God's direction to go to China as a missionary before WWII, time in a concentration camp, forced to leave China by the Chinese Communist Party, and eventually ended up in the United States. There she began a small women's Bible study that became the international Bible Study Fellowship for men, women and children. Bible Study Fellowship has been my foundation in the faith. I wouldn't be the person I am today without my study through the Bible with BSF.

Ms. Johnson was a remarkable woman. Any member of a Bible Study Fellowship class who does not know her story needs to read this book. This unique woman was used by God to influence men, women and children throughout the world because of her faith and trust in God.

I joined a Bible Study Fellowship class last fall so I thought this summer would be a great time to read an autobiography of the founder of Bible Study Fellowship. i am inspired to be a better leader when i read about her life as a missionary and founder of BSF International! She constantly says out loud how she depends and trusts on the Lord for the job at hand. "If He called you to it He will get you through it!"

I read this book ten years ago, and participated in the bible studies, in MI. This book is amazing not only in Audrey's story of commitment, but how she has shared her faith in God, Our Father, and why his Son, Jesus Christ was here for all of us. When she was interred in a Chinese prison camp, how she held onto her faith and hope, and helped so many around her during this most difficult time. It is a book you can't lay down for too long, the story of commitment from Audrey Wetherell Johnson is truly one that can help all of us to believe, and pray constantly, no matter where you are.

I have been in BSF for years. and I loved being able to read a book written by the founder (who is now deceased). Her writing style is very British.

I read this book many years ago when I became a student at Bible Study Fellowship which A. Wetherell Johnson began in the 50's. Wonderful story about a woman who was truly committed to the Lord, and wanted others to know about Him for themselves through the study of the Bible. This book I ordered and gave to a friend who is new to Bible Study Fellowship, I thought she would like to know the history of the organization too.

An outstanding woman. Founder of Bible Study Fellowship. An inspiration to all Christians.
