Works for old sunsetter
Our sunsetter was installed a few years before we moved in and it worked when we moved here and then it just stopped. Tried reprogramming with the original remote and couldn't get it to do more than jog so we gave up. 4 years later I randomly decided to try a new remote and it works again!! Had to Google better instructions for set up but I'm so happy we have our awning working again!

Easy to program and big savings!
I wanted a spare remote “just in case”But the screen company wanted close to $300 for a second remoteAfter reading how easy it was to program from another reviewer I ordered one go $96 and after pushing the power button on back of first remote I then pushed power button on second remote and it’s done thanks Lini

Poor instructions.
The instructions were very poorly done. I ended up going online to try to get the remote paired with the awning. There were various different instruction videos, and they all didn't have the same sequence of instructions. It took me about 4 or 5 hours to get the remote programmed.

Very easy set up
Purchased this remote & honestly the instructions can drive you crazy but thankfully I saw someone else review it elsewhere with set up instructions that were so simple...Press the power botton on the back of the old remote holding it for a couple of seconds, the screen door with jump as though it's about to close. Then press & hold the power botton on the new remote, the screen door will jump as though it's about to close again...that means that the new remote has been synchronized & you can proceed to open or close the screen door.

Replaced the one I dropped on the floor and it broke the contacts inside

Great experience
This was an extra remote to keep on hand in different area of the house, works perfectly with my retractable awning. Only had to press both set up buttons, and the new remote learns from the first remote all the settings. Just make sure it’s compatible with what you want it to pair it to.
