I love, love, love this blanket! It is so very soft and comforting! Even though it is very warm for winter use, I find that it isn't too hot to sleep under now, though it is warm weather. It isn't a super tight weave, so with the AC running and a fan in the bedroom, I find it very comfortable to sleep under. My husband loves it too. I just can't give it up during the summer! I read all the reviews before buying and most everyone said that it didn't shed and they were right and it washes up and dries great. Do not hesitate to buy this blanket, if you are looking for something super soft, you won't be sorry! And the price is really good too, for such quality. I bought my mother-in-law one, small, to use as a throw on her new couch and she loves it too. I also sent one to one of my aunts who is fighting cancer, since she has lost so much weight and is so small and gets cold easy. She also loves hers! I got lavender and it is beautiful, but I imagine all the colors would be great.

I have some health problems and frequently take naps on my couch. My old throw blanket was just not cutting it anymore.For one it was "throw" size which is normally 50" x 60". I'm 5'9" and so by the time I got my feet covered securely, it was barely long enough for me to get tucked under my chin and around my shoulders. So, I ordered this new blanket in queen size(90" x 90"). I can cover my feet and pull it up over my head if I want to to block out the sunlight! Also, if I am extra cold, I can fold it in half.Secondly, my old blanket was polyester but not breathable at all, and I would get overheated so easily. But this new blanket, which is microfiber polyester, is very breathable. I do not feel like I am suffocating underneath it. It is a lighter weight blanket but it does keep me warm. And as I said above, if I am still not warm enough, I can fold it in half and be nice and cozy.I got this blanket in Laurel Green and it looks exactly like it does in the photo(at least on my screen anyway). It really is a beautiful blanket and I highly recommend it!EDIT: I bought another one for my hubby, this time in twin size. Its long enough to cover him completely(including his piggies!), but wide enough so it doesn't get in the way. These blankets are so soft and cozy. They wash up perfectly and the colors are so pretty. I absolutely love them and highly recommend them to anyone!

I own several of the these blankets in various colors, styles and sizes! They are so soft and warm, however they are very breathable so as to not make you too hot! The sizes are spot on as far as coverage. Will always have these blankets in my home! 😊

This blanket is soft with a nice pattern. Very light weight for spring or fall not winter. The color is pretty close to picture. It washes well and holds up to cat claws. I would recommend it.

I bought this for my massage table. I wanted a heavy blanket but the weighted blankets seem to have a major issue with holes and the "glass beads" that make them weighted seem to be nothing more than sand. I loathe sand and sure the heck don't want that all over my massage table, floors, body, sheets, etc . . .. No thank you.I searched for the heaviest blankets and this was the heaviest I could find, yet it's thin. Perfect for a massage table. The length is such that when it's held for a person to turn over it ensures modesty is held intact - no peep shows.When under the blanket on the table it has an evenly distributed weight which is enhanced by its width, causing the drape of the blanket to add to the weighted feeling.It looks nice on the table, feels nice on the skin (though I keep a sheet between it and the body), and, as mentioned, has a good weight to it.For simply snuggling up I think it would work well for two people - it would be a bit bulky for one perhaps. Conversely, it might make a good burrowing blanket for one person.As a top cover for a bed I believe it would work well in the warm months, but in the cooler months another blanket may be desired.For pets I would avoid it as the pet hair will entwine with the soft fibers of the blanket and quickly degrade its appearance. Due to its weight it's also going to be rather heavy once saturated and that hair is going to be difficult to remove, if it doesn't further embed in the blanket. Pet claws will also snag the material. My recommendation would be to stick with flannel or cotton sheets for pets (fleece is warm, inexpensive, and easy to clean but it's also flammable and can be irritating to pets' skin - my dog starts scratching like crazy when I use her fleece blankets and it eases when I use the cotton sheets).

I am sold on these. I now have purchased 2 but in different colors. They are so soft and not bulky or heavy. They wash and dry very nicely.

This is my second blanket- I have a purple one and this new peacock blue- the colors are amazing and the blanket doubles as a bedspread- it is soft and washes great
