Lifestyle Covers 100 % Cotton Cobalt Full Size Futon Cover

Almost didn't buy this cover after reading the reviews, but I'm so glad I did! I have had my cover for a few months now but at first it was too big. After I washed and dried it for the first time it shrank down to the size of futon I have. I have a one and half year and it's wonderful to have a futon cover I can wash so easily. The first time I washed it someone had split an entire glass of red wine on it, dawn and peroxide took it right out! It probably won't fit on one of those really thick futons after it's been washed though because it does shrink. It is not "soft" as mentioned in other reviews, but hey! It's canvas, it's not supposed to be super soft. I still find it very comfortable. One comment: the inside hem strings up really bad when you dry it. I just cut the strings out the first time and it was as good as new. The second time I washed it I washed and dried it completely zipped up and this fixed the string problem all together. Highly recommend! Just look at it :)

We made sure to check the size of our futon mattress before purchasing, and the cover fit really well in depth, and length--it was a little baggy in the width, but I think most futon covers are. It looked really nice. Loved the color (we purchased Olive), mild pilling after some use, but nothing terrible. Because I read the reviews about shrinking after washing, I chose not to wash it when it arrived. After my husband spilled some tea the other evening, though, we didn't have a choice.We washed it on a cold delicate cycle and hung it to dry... and it shrunk in length by several inches and is now unusable--we were able to get it to zip, but only by bending the mattress. It appears that they didn't wash the fabric before sewing the item--there was a lot of fraying of the inside seams (which isn't a huge deal, you can just cut the strings carefully), and the fabric itself shrunk. Anyone who sews anything knows that that's a big no-no. I am really disappointed because this color worked so well in our living room but I can't justify another $50 for a cover that I can't even wash (especially with two little kids in the house).If you can get away with not washing the item at all and only spot cleaning as needed (which was my plan), I think it's still worth it!

Let me start off by saying that my star rating is based on the second one received. We first ordered this a few weeks ago. The first one I received was extremely thick canvas and pretty uncomfortable but I washed it anyway. After washing the dye messed up and the whole thing was ruined even though I followed the instructions. Amazon let me return it for a refund. I decided to reorder it again and was surprised when opening it today to find a completely different product even though it was the "same." This one was much softer, fit better and was overall way more comfortable. However, it had a big line through it. At this point I don't want to bother returning it again but clearly quality control is an issue. Happy with this second product but wish it didn't come defective

I ordered the “smoke” color after trying the khaki (which ended up being more olive than I’d hoped). The color is nice and will hide the cat hair, the material is a duck cotton or canvas (not as thick as I’d hoped but what I wanted given that my pets frequent the futon) and I got it on easy enough (it’s always a battle to get a futon cover on but this one was no more difficult than any other). I’m disappointed in the quality - lots of loose threads, some slack seams, and a small tear. If I’d noticed these before I put it on, and if I hadn’t already been through several covers just to find one that was “good enough”, I’d be sending it back. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Junk. The cover arrived with an unpleasant odor. This can happen with black dyes, but this was particularly unpleasant. Hoping to eliminate any factory residue, etc the cover was given a gentle wash on cold. In common with other reviews, this caused the cover to shrink somewhat. The cover I was hoping to replace has been through the washer multiple times without issue, so a shrink on first wash is not acceptable to me. The shrinkage then exacerbated the other major flaw - the zipper is a dual zipper design, but neither end is clamped, so one zipper just came off the track immediately the cover was put under stress by trying to install the, now too large, mat, and the second zipper without anything to jam against, fell off the moment it reached the end of the track. This wasn't helped much by the fact that one zipper track is 1/3 inch longer than the other.Some reviewers seem happy with theirs so I'd say it's a case of you pays your money you takes your chance.

I bought this in the teal color to go on DHP 8-Inch Independently-Encased Coil Premium Futon Mattress, Full Size, Chocolate Brown along with Zippered Bed Bug Proof Mattress Encasement (Full) Ample Zipper Opening, Waterproof Mattress Cover - Mattress Protector, Ultimate protection against Insects and dust mites by Utopia Bedding so it would make the futon mattress waterproof also . I love that fabric on this as its like a duck or heavy canvas feeling , as far at the fit its okay , it fits tight around the sides when zipping it and even on a new 8 inch mattress as you can see in the pic its still a little baggy in the seating area. I do love the fact that this cover zips around all 3 sides which makes putting and changing covers very easy, as far as durability Ive only had this for about a week so I will update on that if anything should happen to fail with it as in when I wash it or if it tears

Tanto el título como las imágenes no dejan claro que es lo que se está comprando y en la descripción es muy ambigua.

Did not even bother to try the cover as once opened, the colour did not look like anything near to what is portrayed on the website. The fabric is more beige in colour and looks the texture is not plain as reflected in the image.

Tenía muy pocas expectativas de esta funda, porque hay opiniones muy divididas. Ciertamente no es una funda tan robusta como otras que he visto al triple del costo, ni queda como si fuera parte del tapizado, pero finalmente me gustó por su precio y funcionalidad. Es algodón, no esperes algo suave como terciopelo, al tacto es lo suficientemente cómoda y fresca. La compré para hacer más fácil la limpieza de mi futón porque tengo una gata y una niña pequeña, por lo que se ensucia pronto y me gusta mantenerlo limpio. Pasó la prueba del lavado en lavadora, por lo que he visto es una de las quejas qué hay, dicen que se encoje. Yo la lavé en ciclo delicado, con agua fría y jabón de barra en escamas. Sequé colgado directo al sol. La mayor dificultad que he tenido es ponérsela a mi futón, porque es grueso y pesado.

The colour description was accurate in description and according to the picture (although there are NO PILLOWS, as shown in the photo). The sizing was also good. The quality of the material was excellent, zippers strong and hidden, the material is durable and comfortable - made with a canvass-like material, similar to what you would find for good outdoor furniture, so it will be easy to clean.This has put new life into our well loved futon sofa.ALSO: This was shipped and received VERY FAST! Our location is in a major city in Western Canada

Por el costo la verdad es que esperas un poquito de mejor calidad, la tela se siente algo aspera, no es tan suave (por lo menos el color negro que fue el que compre) el zipper tampoco es de la mejor calidad aunque no he tenido problemas con el, se siente y se nota que es de baja calidad. En general es bueno, cumple con su proposito pero esperaba un poco de mayor calidad.

Easy install, nice color, not as soft as expected (but it might soften overtime) but it’s thick and feels like it won’t rip easily.We’ll see over time if the color fades with the wash, if it’s soften or if it rips, but on the whole it’s a nice way to easer protect your nice futon or change the color to make it looks newer or match a new renovated room.

Muy buena compra.Material resistente y de agradable textura. El color es el que esperaba. El tamaño un poco grande pero soon problema para usarlo ya que se puede acomodar en el pliegue entre asiento y respaldo.Como se ve en la fotografía está recién desempacado y se le notan las marcas. Espero pronto tome si forma.¡Satisfecha!

At first I liked it but after a week it shows any lint or hair. It is on a futon in our Airbnb property and is a pain to keep clean. I used a lint brush and also use tape. We washed and dried it and now it shrunk and doesn't fit proper. Will probably look for a different cover now.

Our old futon never came with a cover and that cream material that all futons have was so dirty looking. We decided to try one of these covers and are super happy with the result. We ordered 'olive' green which turned out to be a lovely, natural-looking colour. We use this futon as our living room sofa so didn't want a cover which looked like a sheet covering a mattress. The material on this cover is a very thick cotton, so it appears to be very durable yet is still stylish. It fit our futon perfectly (I did measure beforehand to make sure).

When I read the reviews on this, I noticed that a number of reviews stated that it was more tawny than white. Unfortunately, I didn't clue into what this actually meant. So I'll translate: tawny means yellow! If you are looking for a light yellow cover, don't be deterred, but if you are wanting an off-white or cream color... BEWARE!The material is thin and becomes quite loose-fitting and wrinkled very quickly. I won't be using it and feel like I wasted my money.

I am really pleased with this durable cover. It fit the futon well. The fabric is strong enough to stand up to my dog's claws when she makes herself cozy without being unduly rough. I plan on buying another one in a different colour.

Well constructed and the colour as black as you can get, which is exactly what I was looking for. Matte finish. Be aware the fabric does not stretches at all, so get your dimensions right.
