UHU99655 Glue Stick, 1.41 oz, Pack of 6, Clear/ White

I am also an art journal/mixed media artist and have used UHU glue on an off for years. I used others throughout the years but in taking recent on line classes, most. if not all of my teachers recommend this brand so that is what I use now. Recently, I have had a hard time finding it in local stores plus it was never in a quantity of more than one so it's nice that Amazon has lots of UHU options. I did not pay attention to my last order and received the mini ones. Those work well on small items so I will use and buy both from now on. UHU adheres well and seems to be long lasting. As with any glue, keeping the lid on when not in use it vital or it will dry out. When that happens to me, I slice a tiny bit of top layer off with my blade and it's good to go.

Anywhere you’d use a glue stick, this one is by far the best! It’s the perfect consistency under regular temperatures and adheres well. Washes off fingers and surfaces easily yet provides a strong hold that is adjustable in the first few seconds.

Does the job so well

They hold together paper crafts well. And do not turn pages yellow

I know that this is a great product to use for bookmaking. However, I was disappointed to find that I received only 5 of the 6 glue sticks that I ordered. The package was open and one item was missing.

Love that it goes on easily and has less glue bumps than other brands. Great adhesion.

Great Product-Reasonably Priced

This glue is my go-to for paper (making envelopes, primarily). Easy to use, great packaging, avoids messes, dries clear. I can't seem to find a local outlet to purchase directly, so I'm grateful to Amazon for the availability of a favorite product AND for fast shipping!
