I NEVER hear my alarm clocks... I sleep through them constantly, even with multiple set. The "bed shaker" is perfect for me, wakes me up every time, WITHOUT scaring the crap out of me, my sleeping husband, or our cats LOL!With that being said I will say this 1) even at the loudest volume setting this alarm ISN'T loud, so if you want/need a loud sounding alarm maybe not this one 2) I saw this in other reviews and it's definitely a downfall, if you hit the "hour" or "minute" button when trying to hit "snooze" it turns OFF the alarm for THE DAY, so the display will still say the alarm is ON but it will not go off again until the following morning(or whatever you have it set for) and considering "hour" - "snooze" - "minute" buttons are all big across the top in that order, this can be an issue. So far I've only had a problem once and I've been using the alarm consistently for almost 3weeks now.I love the display, it's easy to read, the colors are a great touch, and the brightness is adjustable! I also like that there's a button on the back for daylight savings, so the time automatically adjusts by one hour with just a flick of a switch instead of resetting the whole thing.I definitely recommend this clock if you often sleep through alarms or don't want to wake everyone else in the house up!

I just received this alarm clock and it exceeds my expectations! It is extremely easy to read (the digits are slightly less than 2" tall) and at its brightest setting, it is very bright and easily seen during the day. At the lowest dimmer setting, you can barely make out the time during the day although in a dark room you might be able to see it so it doesn't turn off completely but is very dark. The dimmer is a slider so you can choose any level from almost off to bright.It is also VERY easy to setup. The instruction sheet is excellent but even without it, every button on the back makes sense. It has a button for Alarm Pause which is raised and red on the back of the clock to turn off the alarm each day so it will sound the next day. The is also a separate slider to turn the alarm all the way off if you don't want to use the alarm and of course you can press the Snooze button on the top center of the alarm clock if you want to get another 9 minutes of sleep.There are separate buttons to set the time and the alarm. You simply press the one you want and use the hour and minute buttons on the top of the clock to set them. There is also an alarm volume slider and a time format slider to switch between 12 and 24 hour (military time) format.Finally, you can press and hold the time set button for a few seconds and the DST light will come on and an hour will be added to the time for Daylight Saving Time. When it is over in 6 months, simply press and hold the time set button for a few seconds and the DST light will go off and it will move the time back one hour. It is a manual process but you only do it twice a year and it is a little more convenient then having to fully set the time back and forth every six months.The colors of the night light can be changed each time you press the Snooze button on the top. They look good too and if you press and hold the Snooze button you can turn off the night light.The alarm clock has a very clean look and is easy to see and to use. The digits are bright, clear and consistent (no part of any digit appears to be brighter or darker than other parts of the digits). I highly recommend it!

This feels like a cheap clock... probably because it is. It is a great clock though. WE bought it so my kids would know when it is time to get up and when they need to go back to sleep. We have not used the alarm yet, my kids don't need it, they get up too early. the light comes on with a button press and is bright enough. Adjusting the time and all that is pretty easy. It's also easy to switch the alarm to the off position. unfortunately that also mean it is easy to turn on and more than a few times my kids have been playing with it and turned it on. We've caught it in time so far.

We really like these and the colored light feature when getting into bed! I prefer the dimmer feature for time on earlier models however.Great clock, we own 4 now!

Been looking for a replacement alarm clock. Well, I came across this unit and like it allot. I like the size of the unit and the number display. Has a nice visual display you can see when half asleep. Love the LED's that you can change color for the night like. The back of the unit is very easy to use. Not like other type of clocks. The controls on this unit are very easy to use. Now two cons on this unit. I don't like the type of plastic they used for the housing of this unit. It's hard to explain, but it's a hard brittle type of plastic. Meaning, if it was to be dropped on a hard floor. I'm guessing it would break in a million pieces, but It's in the bedroom with carpet. I think the price should be cheaper on this unit.I don't hate or dislike this unit. I really like this alarm clock allot and would buy it again. It's a nice clock and I'm happy with it. Just don't like the plastic typed they use to make it. I'm looking passed it. Sharp clock.
