So the autofocus is always going to be an issue, it's not gonna be as good as having Sony E Mount lenses period. I got this for the Sony a7S II I wanted to mainly control aperture for video work, problem with this adapter is it works 50% of the time with my Canon 28mm 1.8 and Canon 50mm F1.4. There seems to be a communication problem I'll turn on the camera and it will be completely closed down and dark, won't let you record or even snap pictures and it'll cause the whole camera to freeze even if i turn it off the camera power switch the screen stays on and I have to remove the battery for it to stop. But once it finally starts working the aperture control works as it should. I've only had it for a week but yeah I've used the metabones quite a bit never had these issues. My other L series lenses appear to work fine though.

I bought this item to use a Canon EFS lens on a Sony NEX 6 and NEX 7. I wanted to be able to change the aperture via the camera and this product does that. I didn't expect it to auto focus well if at all, and it doesn't. Not a deal breaker for me. This adapter appears to be sturdy and well made. The auto focus might work on newer cameras and lenses, but not the ones I have. It will attempt to focus, but misses the mark. Perhaps it is my camera or the lens. I recommend this product but don't expect it to auto focus on older lenses and cameras very well.

Did not work with my Sony A7R ii and 3 Canon EF L/ 1 Sigma EF lenses. Tried everything including updating camera firmware, resetting camera, reseating lens + adapter. Seems very well made (surprising for these chinese adapters) and everything fit snugly hence the 2 stars, but I can't help but think that some of the reviews on here are fake. Good thing Amazon has awesome cust. service.

Works just as described for my Canon 400mm f5.6 to Sony a6000. Only AF-S mode but still faster than commlite and fotodiox adapters. Aperture control and AF work but not as fast as native E mount lenses. Only MF allows focus peaking and magnification. AF did not work well on my EF-S 17-85mm ultrasonic as well as my EF-S 24mm prime. AF did not respond at all for my EF 50mm ii. All and all though, this is just what I needed for my 400mm f5.6 and am surprised due to it's price compared to metabones and it's lack of ratings or reviews out there. Great adapter for telephoto lens.

Decided to try this adapter to see if my Canon 100 2.8L IS Macro would work. Glad to say it meets my expectations in that the 100mm lens works as should (Autofocus is slow, but as expected from these adapters). My main issue with other adapters I had (RJ's, Metabones, Generic) was that either the IS did not work or the Aperture would not work.With this Pixco 3rd generation, those issues are solved, and I now have a usable adapter for my 100mm lens.Recommended

Disappointed to receive a paperweight. I bought this product off of another site and had really high hopes that it would work, but the adapter I received would not allow my EF lenses (I tried it with multiple lenses) to turn all the way so that the electronic component from my EF lens would connect to the electronic component on the EF end of the adapter. I will be moving on and trying another adapter. I bought this adapter off of another site, but I'm leaving feedback here as well because I don't want anyone wasting their time with this product. Buy at your own risk.

As a previous Canon shooter who made the switch to Sony, I can say this is the adapter I've wanted for a long time. Excellent autofocus, no lightleaks or glare like so many of the other third party adapters, and a very snug tight fit. This is the real deal for the money, every bit as good as the metabones adapter at a fourth the price!

I'm using this to mount my Canon lenses on my Sony A6300. I'm pleased by both the build and performance of this adapter. The connections between the camera, adapter and lens are firm. The auto-focus is faster than I expected - not sports-photography fast, but more than fast enough for any everyday situation. I'm pleased that I'm able to use my Sony camera with my Canon glass.
