a little power house
item arrived with win 10 pro pre-installed and 2.5 inch ssd hard drive and 2X8gb memory stick. There is one more m2 slot to put additional storage. The performance of i5-8259U is close to i7-7700. I'd recommend this if you would like to go low-profile and low energy consumption, yet powerful enough for most computing tasks.

I love my NUC
I often work 10+ hours a day on my NUC Core i5-8259U which I bought 1-year ago. I loaded it up w/ 32g RAM & a 1tb SSD. It is an amazing little device. And thanks to the USB-C connector, it allows for extensive expansion using a USB-C hub. It fills that perfect niche between a laptop & full-sized desktop PC. I've already recommended it to several friends.

Do not believe the Amazon Product Description
This is not a computer: no ram, no hdd, no wifi, no operating system. just a kit that is meant to be connected to a computer. Sadly, I need a computer now. I guess the people that loved this product are computer geeks that can use this kit as a barebones (really bare) unit. For myself, I am unhappy since for a moment I thought I had a Thunderbolt unit for the new computer...

Best windows machine
This NUC replaced my 5-year old NUC that was my favorite PC of all time (and I go back to the first IBM PCs with 10 MB drives etc). The old NUC was acting up, not always booting up and misbehaving. But after transferring and erasing files from my old guy, it returned to normal use --- the SSD was merely filled! Now I have two of the best.

Tiny, Fast and Upgradable!
This is defiantly the PC you should get to save space but not compromise on speed and reliability. Featuring the latest Intel processor and the ability up ad more ram, this full solid state pc will be more than enough for years to come. comes with everything you need to boot right into Windows 10.

Works great.
We are using this in our medical office. So far it is working great. Windows was pre-installed which was really nice.
