Improved tone and sustain
Recently, the saddle cap chipped off at the B string of my reso during a gig. I decided to go ahead and upgrade the cone since I had to replace the bridge and saddle anyway. In the past I've used both Quarterman and Beard cones, but they're pricey. After researching the Repogle cones and watching a YouTube video showing John actually hand-spinning a few cones, I decided to give it a try. I think the Repogle cone is as good as the Beard or Quarterman cones. Shipping for the cone, bridge and saddle was quick (2 days). Very happy with the upgrades.
