Stronger than the original lexus lifts.
Lift is definitely stronger than the originals that were 8 years old. It doesn't lift the trunk up by itself in my case. I'm not sure it's supposed to, either. it was a little tricky getting the new ones on, but overall pleased. I probably could have waited another few years before replacing them however.

Trunk Supports
The media could not be loaded. The parts for my 2006 GS300 arrived early. Immediately installed them for the trunk, very easy to install. Works great! Thanks!

Does not fit 2006 Lexus GS430
This set of trunk lift supports does not fit the 2006 Lexus GS430 as detailed in the product description. I attempted to install them and they were at least 1/8 of an inch too long. The cylinder is also 3/4 of an inch longer than the original one. Additionally, the part number label on the packaging clearly states "2008 To 2010 GS460 New". Planning to return this part.
