My First Book of Learning Board book – December 31, 2009

I have two grand children: a three-year-old boy and a 19-month-old girl. For BOTH of them, it's their favorite book...my grand-daughter's now and my grandson's when he was her age. I believe this is the best title of this type of book. I had to buy a second copy because they wore the first one OUT! The pictures are wonderful, the categories are instructive, and the adorable page tabs make turning by little hands easy(The picture shows the baby girl with the original book with the cover ripped off...STILL much loved!!)

This is the 2nd copy we have purchased of this book. My older girls loved it as toddlers and now my twin toddlers love it! They really picked pictures and words that appeal to this age group as this book elicits more language for all 4 of mine than any other book. We love it!

I absolutely LOVE this book because each page teaches a single concept like counting, letters, colors, shapes, etc. This is important so a child can view things all at once & have a comparison to look at. Plus when you since the ABC song, you don't have to flip a page for every letter! My boys LOVE it too! The pictures keep them interested for a long time. I also have the book "My first book of Animals" by the same publisher - I would recommend this book to EVERY toddler!!!

My daughter loved a lot..

my child has loved this book since she was 10 months. She's now 14 months and we ask "where is the duck?", "where is the doll?", etc, and she loves to find the different items that she knows.

My son loves this book and... so do I. The fact that it has real pictures instead of drawings and the pages consist of reasonable amount of photos make this book so great. It's not overwhelming with too much info what I found personally a big problem with these kind of books nowadays.

Very good book. It's a good first book because the pictures are clear and colorful to look at. It's a perfect to start off with a book like this to help with first words.
