I don't know why this mat doesn't have more rave reviews as it's quite simply FAB! I'd say I'm an 'intermediate' at yoga and try to practice most days. With soooo many mats out there it's hard to know what to go for, but having got a Yogi Bare rubber mat for my birthday and loving it, I know that rubber mats are amazing if you're looking for a super non-slip mat that also has enough 'squishiness' to protect your knees, back, hands etc in balance poses. This mat from FrenzyBird is extremely similar in style and design to the very popular Liforme mats that have an eye-watering price tag, but at £36 this one is a bargain, and is (as far as I can tell) of equal quality.It rolls out flat immediately with no buckling at the ends, the rubber is mega grippy (no worrying about slipping in downward dog), the alignment lines are very helpful and keep you focused on correct technique but without being distracting, and it also comes with loads of extras: cute mat bag, matching carry strap, ties to keep the mat rolled up tight when not in use, and a matching yoga strap - all high quality. The colour choices are great, and the pink I got is just so pretty! It also arrived very quickly in a lovely cardboard box. I can't wait to use this mat and I know it's going to be extremely durable and last me years. If you're wondering whether this mat is as good as it's expensive counterpart, just go for it, you won't be disappointed - it's an amazing mat at a great price, thank you FrenzyBird!

I purchased this yoga mat after viewing it's (very expensive!) counterpart and seeing this come up as a recommendation. After reading the reviews I decided to take the plunge and try this, at a mere £38 instead of the £100+ I was considering spending it did seem a bit too good to be true, but not so! What a revelation this mat has been! I had not used a rubber mat before but will not be going back to foam! From the first use I didn't slip once! I was a bit worried that rubber mats are only non slip for those who do hot yoga, which I do not do, but this is not the case as it worked great. It feels much more padded for my joints than my original mat and the alignment markings are very clear and a great help. I got the pink mat and it is a vibrant pink with a black backing. I found that I am now able to get into poses more easily and safely as I feel more stable as I do not slip at all. It really has helped my practice improve which I did not expect from a yoga mat! I really cannot praise it enough. It does have a funny smell from the rubber, but that is not an issue for me and I would expect that all rubber mats are similar. One draw back for people that are taking the mat to yoga classes is that it is more weighty than the standard foam yoga mat but it is by no means to heavy to transport in my opinion and I only practice at home anyway so this is not an issue for me but something to be aware of. The mat came with a grey bag which seems to be good quality if a little small, it is difficult to get the mat in and out and I probably wont use it for fear of damaging the mat on the zip. It also came with two pink yoga straps which are very good quality. I would not hesitate to recommend this mat, its brilliant and a bargain as well.

This mat is great value for money! It is the exact same material/composition as the much more expensive Lifeforme/Phantai/Yogi Bare brands but is the same great quality for half the price. The alignment lines are great. The bag is fine, I don’t understand people moaning about it, it is free after all! And it comes with carry straps too! The grip is perfectly non-slip, and due to this and the alignment markings I genuinely feel that my yoga poses have improved as it’s so much easier to get into and stay in the right position!The only downsides for me are that it does have a bit of a horrible fishy/rubbery smell, I laid the mat out for a few days to air it out before using it for the first time but this didn’t help get rid of the smell unfortunately. Also where it is non-slip I find that the mat attracts fluff/dust/hair which isn’t pleasant so I think it will require wiping down regularly. But overall well worth the money and I highly recommend!

I have a Lifeforme (LF) and bought this for my daughter who has just started yoga- the first mat that I bought was synthetic mat and useless. It's not as heavy as a LF and not quite as long but the markings are similar, as is the grip. So it's a good mat for the money and she didn't slip once in downward dog.

Good mat, nice and thick with markings to help support my placement and alignments during yoga which is already improving my practise! Comfortable to use and a nice neutral colour. [EDIT - also I have had lots of compliments on it, people asking where it’s from and often mistaking it for a liforme mat].Only downsides: 1) it does smell a bit plastically [EDIT - when it first arrives but this wears out after a few uses]2) when you sweat or anything it shows up on the mat and leaves imprints - these do fade but not too quickly3) everything seems to stick to it like fluff and little bits of dust which can be slightly annoying for a clean freak like meAlthough it does have these downsides I do really like that mat and use it for all my sessions. I would recommend it to others.

This mat is perfect. I now understand how a mat can improve your practice of yoga . Yes it does smell very unpleasant to begin with but the smell is slowly disappearing. It does mark a little but it’s so great I don’t care . The markings on the mat help you align your position correctly, there’s no slipping on this mat , no curling and it’s thickness is perfect ( I use mine on a stone floor ) . It packs away easily into the bag and I don’t find it heavy at all as others mentioned. It’s a great price and awesome quality. If your thinking about it I would recommend you just go for it , you will fall in love with it , oh and also the colour is so pretty, very soothing.

+: Nun grundsätzlich eine schöne Yogamatte.Man rutscht nicht, Sie ist nicht weich, aber genügend dick.-: 1.Sie hat jedochden Nachteil, dass sie sehr leicht Flecken bekommt.Beim geringsten Kontakt mit etwas fetter Haut( läßt sich zumindest beim Ablegen des Gesichtes nicht vermeiden, höchstens man entfettet die Haut komplett, aber alleine schon die Stirn ablegen, führt zu einem Fleck.2.sie riecht ziemlich stark.Ich denke aber, dass das vergehen wird.Derzeit ist nur ein minimaler Fleck, aber man muss halt immer ein Tuch auflegen.Falls der Fleck jedoch zu entfernen geht, wäre das kein Grund sie zurückzusenden.Update: Habe sie 5 Mal verwendet und transportiert.Nun ist die Tasche bereis eingerissen und für diese schwere Tasche unbrauchbar.Sie geht nun retour und ich versuche einen Neustart mit dem schwarzen Modell.Update: auch diese Tasche ging nach ca 20 Yogastunden kaputt. Das ist echt eine Zumutung.Ohne Tasche unbrauchbar.

Da ich sehr stark schwitzende Hände habe, war ich lange auf der Suche nach einer Matte, die wirklich rutschfest ist! Es gab nur 2 Möglichkeiten, entweder Lotuscrafts (wo mir aber leider die Farbe nicht gefiel, da es zu dem Zeitpunkt leider nur grün gab) oder Liforme (schweineteuer!) Die Matte von Frenzy Bird ist genauso gut und auch die Zeichnungen auf der Matte sind wie bei der von Liforme! Ich bin total zufrieden und kann sie auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

This yoga mat put me in the hospital. It reeked of a foul odour/chemical smell. I had trouble breathing with it in the house.One fine day when I was using it, it caused me to have an allergic reaction so bad, I was sent to the emergency room. My eye was blood red for a whole week and I couldn't do anything. I couldn't go to work, couldn't eat and couldn't sleep.

This is an incredble matExcellent grip - great for room temperature or hot yoga rooms.Very similar brands can cost upwards of $200I really love that it is a little longer than the average mats.The markings on the mat are great aids for alignment.Best investment ever. Wipe clean with warm water only.

I like stickier mats, but because of what they are made of, I tend to tear through them reasonably fast. I recently only got about 9 months (3 "non-hot room" practices a week on average) out of a Jade Fusion mat. This mat feels like a thinner version of the Lululemon black mat. I've been using this mat for about a month now, sure, it discolors with sweat a little, but it's holding up well so far and the price makes it far easier to replace when I eventually chew through it. The alignment lines are nice too!The typical odor of the mat when new isn't that bad. I didn't even have to season it before I took it to the studio.

LOVE this mat! I have tried a few others and this one is by far the best. Absolutely NO slipping...the rubbery surface on top grips so well allowing for deepwning your stretch with worrying about falling. The grip on the bottom holds onto surface extremely well and the thickness of the mat prevents shifting when changing poses. Only down side (a very minor one) is that it won't stay rolled up unless you tie something around it. But an insignificant detail given how great the mat it.

Do not buy this item. It smells STONGLY of chemicals that are nauseating. I tried leaving it outside for a day. Still terri ke. I tried washing it... still as bad but it is now stained??? I cannot get through more than 5 minutes on the mat before feeling faint and nauseated.I am extremely disappointed after paying over $70.Truly the worst experience I have ever had with buying online.

Die Matte an sich hält was sie verspricht, sie ist wirklich absolut gar nicht rutschig, selbst wenn man mal ins Schwitzen kommt. Durch die Dicke von 5mm bietet sie auch eine angenehme Polsterung.Beim ersten Benutzen roch sie allerdings etwas chemisch, dieser Geruch verfliegt jetzt so langsam (seit 3 Tagen in Gebrauch). Das ist schon ein kleiner Minuspunkt.Die Matte war in einem Karton verpackt und dieser nochmal in einem Versandkarton. Der äußere Karton war absolut in Ordnung, der Karton der Matte selbst leider nicht. Er wurde augenscheinlich schonmal geöffnet. Leider fehlte auch das in der Artikelbeschreibung erwähnte Resistanceband. Auch die Tasche für die Matte ist wirklich keine gute Qualität, da gehen schon die Reisverschlußnähte auf. Schade eigentlich, macht die Matte eigentlich einen guten Eindruck flopt das Drumherum...

Die Matte ist rutschfest und sehr gut für die Yogapraxis. Wer eine leichte Matte sucht, ist mit dieser nicht gut bedient, aber das müsste auch klar sein, wenn man das Material und die Dicke der Matte bedenkt. Leider einen Punkt Abzug, da ich gleich Flecken auf der Matte hatte, nachdem ich meine Hände eingecremt habe. Diese waren sehr schwer zu beseitigen und sind nicht ganz verschwunden. Daher würde ich eher eine schwarze Matte empfehlen. Aber ansonsten tut sie ihre Dienste und sieht auch schön aus mit der Musterung.

Love this mats ability to stick to the floor as well as when I sweat my hands don’t slip. The mat is also nice and thick. The only dislike is that water discolours the mat temporarily

I received the mat 2 days ago. I’ve taken it to hot yoga practice since then (twice now) and the grip is phenomenal. I sweat a lot, my hands sweat a lot, but that didn’t affect the grip at all. I’m the second sweatiest person in a class of about 15-20 for reference. My downward dog is better because I can press away from the mat without slipping. It’s an upgrade from my last TPE mat, which couldn’t keep up after 1 week of daily practice because it became slippery.Now the mat is definitely heavier than my previous mats. The moment you lift it, you can tell the difference. However, it feels and looks luxurious, and has excellent grip for sweaty people so it’s worth it. If anything, carrying it to practice will make me more fit, haha. One edge also curls a bit, but it’s probably because it was rolled for a long time. It should go away soon since I’m using it now and laying it flat for the most part — not a problem anyway.I’ll update if anything changes. I love it so far.

Absolut rutschfaset Yogamatte mit angenehmer Dicke und nicht zu weich.In den ersten 3 Wochen roch der Naturkautschuk noch, das hat sich dann aber gegeben.Preis/Leistung top - habe ähnlich für fast den 3fachen Preis gesehen.Dem einen oder anderen ist sie vielleicht etwas schwer. Dafür gibt es die Tragetasche und andere Tragegurte gleich mit. Kaufempfehlung

J'aime : l'adhérence pour les mains et les pieds (super grip!), le fait que le tapis soit un peu plus large que la plupart des tapis, les marques pour l'alignement et la belle couleur.J'aime moins : le poids (très lourd selon moi) et le fait que le matériel soit poreux (il tache facilement et parfois difficile à nettoyer).Je suis quand même satisfaite de mon achat mais contente de ne pas avoir payé plus cher.

So this mat is pretty good!In my case, the mat came in damaged (see photo), so I will send it back.But otherwise the mat is nice.It do not smells bad (just a bit like, but its gone really quickly), when you are doing yoga the mat stays in place and also your hands! I have really dry hands and it was difficult to find a mat where my hands are not slipping away, and you don't slip at all on this mat, even with sweaty hands.So now pro and cons:Pro:- price is pretty decent- the mat will not slip- your hands will not slip (dry or sweaty hands)- it looks nice- alignments lines will help you to do poses as needed- you get a lot of goddies with this mat!Cons:- came damaged (but this is just my case)- when you touch your forehead on the mat, there will be a grease stain. So after using your mat, it will be a bit dirty (from hands, feet)- even after cleaning the mat, the stains are still visible - but maybe I do it wrong, dunno (not using alcohol based cleaner or anything similar)So if you don't mind a bit of a maintenance on this mat (or that she is a bit dirty), then you have a really nice yoga mat who will not let you slip in any case with a nice bag and some yoga goddies. Good pick!

I bought a tpe mat of this brand before and feel pretty good for regular yoga exercise. Now I begin to practise hot yoga. I sweat a lot during the practice. In this situation, the tpe mat is not enough. So I try on this pu mat. It is awesome with strong floor grip and supper anti slipping as well as wet absorbing. I love the bag too. Great product for yoga pro.
