Lots of good ideas

I buy these books to inspire my kids and their friends in projects. We make t-shirts, design flyers for Girl Scouts, create greeting cards, make tags for packages, especially at Christmas. This book will inspire you as it did my kids in how to tangle with quotes, sentiments, and uplifting words to decorate projects. The girls are currently working on treasure boxes (yup plain ol' cardboard boxes that are getting painted and decorated and they will save their treasures. This book helps them understand how to combine letters with inspirational Zentangle art. It has opened a new world for them to explore and I think I heard them talking about making a series of summer T-shirts with their favorite "cool" sayings. I can't wait to see how these turn out. I expect to have a porch full of girls much of the summer and that makes me happy.

Generally this is a nice addition to the series of Zentangle books. The subtitle is "Lettering, Quotes and Inspirational Sayings." I felt like it was a little lacking in the Quotes and Sayings. There are some, but I would have liked to have more. The "tangles" included are well laid out and easy to follow as are all of those by Suzanne McNeill.

So quick and easy to follow.

This ladies books are really great. I have bought them all. I have been learning one zen-tangle at a time. Just finished 2 book. Ready to start 3. they are so relaxing. Some of the patterns are really simple to follow and others need a lot of erasing. I do erase. A lot some times!!!. Once I get the basic lines I don't care if if is neat or not, just so it is the zentangle it is supposed to be.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas and she loves to Zentangle. She didn't have this book but I honestly didn't feel like it had to much extra and was very similar to their other books out there. Once it arrived and I saw it . There wasn't much to it so I was honestly disappointed and was embarrassed to give it to her. My mom said she liked it but there was nothing new in there that she didn't already know.

What can I say... This womans collection of books have changed my life. I love all of the Zentangle books she has done. I do tend to wait for the sale price to come, but it is worth waiting for. These books would be great for christmas gift this year. :) Thank you Suzanne McNeill for wonderful set books to help the new artist in all of us. :)

I love all of Suzanne McNeil's books! I own every one. I am a CZT and I like to turn my students on to them. Great for beginner as well as advanced tanglers. Very concise stepouts, easy to follow. I recommend them all.

I have been working on this project for a couple of weeks. The project is going well. The first thing I need to do is to get the information from the book. I have attached the invoice for the work done.

Love the great ideas to use the zentangle patterns. Learning and creating is easier with these books.

Not as informative as some I have bought but is good to use as a reference when needed.

My 12yrs old daughter loves this book and has been busy creating since she received it!
