Second attempt at posting this review because they refused to post my first one. Probably because I was a bit too colorful with my wording on how frustrating it was to put this together (I said, “from human to f ing human”). Basically this is not an easy assembly at all. Use your head and don’t follow the instructions. Assemble all the L screws first (see pictures) and then put it together. The pilot holes made it very difficult to screw in the screws.

I bought four of these bookcases to organize an office closet. Four units perfectly fill a normal (six by Seven foot) home closet. I almost didn't buy these due to the negative reviews. Most of the bad reviews have to with assembly and I can understand why people had problems. At the least, you need basic handyman skills or past experience assembling furniture to assemble this item properly. You'll also need an electric drill, electric screwdriver and rubber mallet. I assembled three of these in one afternoon. As always, the first was the hardest, but the second and third units took about 30 minutes each. I found the product well made and of consistent quality and production. Each piece is well marked and the instruction manual is very good, but you'll need good spatial skills, as the instruction contains no text, just drawings. Once assembled, the bookcase is very sturdy. A lot of the sturdiness is due to the back panel. Even thought it's tedious to install, (a zillion screws with no pilot holes) it's what keeps lateral movement to a minimum. In summary, this is a high quality product , considering it's affordable price.

Can't find the instructions. Took me 2 days to get halfway through, bc doing it alone is a major PITA for me. It's half assembled, and holding dog food in the pantry, bc at this point, I'm ready to throw it straight out the door. If I find the instructions, maybe I'll update it. Half assembled and crooked, it's holding 3 big boxes of moist n meaty, so there's that*shrug*.

it's a nice piece of furniture, all the parts were correct and perfectly labeled, but they need to come up with some easier and simpler way to put it together... all those hundreds of tiny screws, pegs, etc are frustrating and take forever...

I am using this in my art and craft room. Works prefect. I purchased three of these and have put them about 3 foot apart, then added a nice piece of wood on top to make a work place.

Slightly smaller than I expected it to be but it’s sufficient. I feel like it was very expensive for what it is.

It’s not worth the price. I expected it to be a little stronger for $85 but it’s no stronger or nicer than $30 one you could get at family dollar. It’s some what easy to put together but you have to be very gentle or you could damage it. It’s a good size and height just wish it was stronger. Luckily I was able to and know how to apply some reinforcement to it so it will hold up just fine but I shouldn’t have to for the price.

we bought this for storing all of kids toys. works great and fits standard colored cubes which makes it fun and easy to color code your kids stuff!
