Quayside Publishing Book, Multicolor

VERY good book. Love the artist's teaching methods It is hard to believe that ht has only been painting for 10 years. Learned a lot from reading the bood and observing the pictures.

Just wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Good book maybe just not for beginners . Looking for a little more technical on mixing colors.

I am enjoying the Oceans and Seascapes very much and already started practicing the lessons. The book came in great condition and the instructions in it are easy to understand. My experience with Amazon has been an excellent one. I have no regrets or complaints. The prices are wonderful; the shipping sometimes is free. All my books have arrived in a very timely manner and in great conditions.

I had trouble following the directions. I would have liked a list of colors being used and substitutes since I could not find some of the colors. It would have been nice to also have an arrow pointing to the area of reference since the terms seemed vague to me. I didn't pay much for the book so didn't feel totally ripped off.

Lots of ideas and some I was not aware in this easy to follow guide to painting.. made for oils but i guess could also be used for acrylics....

I often paint abstract paintings, but painting the ocean is unlike anything you can do as an artist. The movement, the fluency, the moods, and the eloquence of the water are amazing! The ocean seems t have a life of its own. This book will challenge and teach you secrets about painting water that will stretch you as an artist.

Very good book to have in any artist personel library to use as a reference for seascape paintings.
