Lazy Susan Child Proof Lock
I now am a proud great grandmother of a grandson under two whom is interested in my kitchen cabinets so I went searching for a lock for my lazy susan cabinet and I chose this one. It works perfect and seems durable so far. I would have given it 5 stars for ease to use but you have to get the hang of how it works and get used to where you push to unlock. After that it is a reminder thought process to not look at what seems like the obvious button you push but I have no buyer regrets and would recommend it to keep those tiny fingers from getting hurt.

It keeps the baby out!
This product is exactly what we needed. We have a lazy Suzanne in our bottom cabinet that our baby keeps getting into. We installed it a month or so ago and it has kept our baby safe. Worth the buy.

Easy to use and the kids can’t get in! Love these!
The media could not be loaded. These are awesome if you have a lazy Susan cupboard. Easy for adults to figure out how to open but difficult for young children. Having a lazy Susan spice cupboard, this was a very needed purchase. Highly reccomend! Get this you’ll be so glad you did.

Hard to open...but keeps the kiddo out!
I was a little nervous about buying this because the reviews seemed pretty mixed, but thus far I'm a fan. It was pretty complicated to install on our cabinets (thus 4 stars, not 5)...hubby made a little spacer to get it in the right spot and it works great. It does make it so the lazy susan can only open one direction, but that is not a big deal to me. It also installs on the outside of the cabinet, so it is always visible (again, this isn't a big deal to me). Our cabinet had been sitting empty because kiddo (16 months) could open it and empty it in less than 2 minutes! We've had our lock in place for about a month and it is holding up just fine but, based on some other reviews, we did buy a spare just in case this one breaks. When the lock is latched all the way closed, it is really hard to open. The front piece is sort of a rounded corners wedge shape, with the pointed side over the cabinet door. There is a button on the outside edge of the wider side that has to be pressed while you turn it to release the latch. Ours is next to the drawer of the next row of cabinets so there is not a lot of room to work with to get it open...it often takes two hands. So thus far, I've just turned it so it is holding the door closed but isn't actually latched. That is working for us for now, but I'm sure it is just a matter of time until the kiddo realizes that he can open it, then we will have to latch it! Either way, it keeps him out, prevents pinched fingers, and gets me a lot more useable storage space...and was not very expensive either.

Lasted 3 years of everyday use
I bought this 3 years ago. Unfortunately it's no longer in stock so I can't replace it but it worked great for 3 years. My toddlers constant messing with it has finally loosened it but I'm still counting this product as a win.

Works great!
Bought because my toddler kept getting into my lazy Susan and throwing my baking supplies everywhere. Works great!! Some child locks he is able to figure out and get past, but he hasn't been able to figure this one out!

Worked after a lot of modification.
The lock I received isn’t the same as pictured. The picture of the lock shows it installed on a raised panel door which is what I have. The one I received does not lock at an angle like it is shown. It only locks in the horizontal position. It will fit a door up to 1 inch thick. You need about 1 5/8 in clearance minimum on the cabinet face. The pre-drilled mounting holes were staggered. One was at about 5/16 inch from the back of the lock. The other was about 5/8 inch. My cabinet frame is 5/8 inch thick, so I had to drill my own second mounting hole. I also cut a piece of oak and glued it into the lock cavity and then cut the length to fit when in the horizontal locked position. I also cut my own shim and attached it to the back side of the door. I didn’t use the one that came with it. It took a lot of modification to make it fit, but it seems to work well.

Great Quality
It is so great to have our Lazy Susan back and have all the can, jars of spices etcetera off of the kitchen counter. We were not prepared for our 1 year old son to learn how to work the lazy susan. He figured it out one day and we tried to keep him away from it, but then he got in and dropped a can on his foot. Right that minute we completely emptied the cabinet and I ordered this lock. Very easy to install, but it does require you to drill two small holes inside the cabinet for installation. Very easy to use. The first two times you have to stop and think for a minute, but after that it becomes second nature. I was concerned about the durability upon seeing the product because it is just one piece of plastic, but it is very durable. My son has hanged from the cabinet knob and pushed into the cabinet like a linebacker and it is still holding. The only downfall I see is that you cannot swing the lazy susan in a complete circle. If you want something in the very end you have to swing all the way around to it and then swing all the back to close the cabinet. Not a big issue to us at all.

Simple fix for kids
Works well. No issues. If your door isn’t standard and is thinner it has an adaptor to make up the space.

Difficult to install
Difficult to install, doesn’t quite work unless a shim is installed on the cupboard. My 18 month also figured out how to open this in a few weeks.

Check the style of hinge first.
Doesn't work with full length piano hinge style doors, otherwise great concept
