Hookah Vase, Silicone Shisha Grommet, and Hookah Base Protector, Replacement and Protective Parts, Glass Vase 3 Piece Set (Silver, Large)

Unfortunately I broke my long-time base in an accident. The stem is still in great condition, so I just wanted a new base. Upon measuring my old base, this one's description appeared to fit the same dimensions. Since it is custom made, I knew there was the chance it wouldn't be perfect. I was right. The inner diameter of the opening at the top of the base is exactly 2 inches (not 1.75 inches, the diameter of the grommet they provided). My former grommet and the grommet they sent with this base did not provide an airtight seal. Some electrical tape and patience helped me make a relatively airtight seal. This is why I knocked off a star. If the opening is bigger than what was promised and clearly would not provide an airtight seal (as would have been evident if anyone put the grommet in the opening!), I feel like that is a product defect and they should have compensated me with a thicker grommet. It was fixable, but that shouldn't be my problem. Otherwise, the glass is thick, the design is beautiful, and the heavy base balances out my rather tall and heavy stem. I guess I am just glad to have my hookah back. :) So, be ready to address any issues that may arise with the opening, but once you get that fixed, you have a great base!

There were a few minor imperfections (small bubbles in the glass and defects in the striping), but it seems to be a solid base and has improved the draw of my hookah slightly.The included grommet was cracked and didn't fit the base it was shipped with.

The base received was as described. It had some minor scratches to the painted lines but otherwise in great shape. I used the grommet that came with my stem and I get a perfect fit (stem and grommet made for 2" opening). I could probably get the grommet included with this base to work, but it's a bit more rigid and the fins that provide the seal are a bit too small. The base protector was a nice bonus.

Unfortunately the grommet didn't fit entirely air tight with the base so I have to use a secondary grommet to make it seal. Still, great product. Happy with the purchase.

Received all items but it was disappointing to see that instead of a grommet I got a vut of a hose? I don't know how is that going to hold the stem? I know grommet is cheap and can be obtained from somewhere else but if it's being offered and advertised as part of a product then the seller should be held responsible for false advertisement. I was totally fine with not having that piece since I only needed the vase but felt like I was cheated. It's not the price it's the principle.

Love the base it’s my favorite but I did not receive the rubbers that are supposed to come with it

This base fit my original hookah system perfectly. There is a 2 inch opening on this base. I bought a base from a smoke shop to replace a broken base and the opening was too small. So happy with this product from Amazon!

It fit perfect with the Regal Prince Hookah.
