Fireside Games Castle Panic Big Box

One of the funnest boardgames I have ever played. My wife and 7-year-old son really enjoy playing, and it's worth noting that my wife really isn't into nerdy stuff. There are multiple variations of the game that can be played by either making it harder, easier, or competitive. I recommend picking up the big box version with all of the expansions to get the most out of the game. It will take some time to learn all of the rules (you'll find yourself frequently referring to the manual), but it is worth it. Also, you can combine the expansions as you like. I cannot say enough good things about this game. We paid $60 for the big box version and have no regrets.

I like the big box as it keeps the base game and expansions into separate compartments. Easy to set the game up and pack away. As for the game itself, fun for friends and family. I like the idea of co-op as there is no competition among players.

This is a great combo for those who do not already own the base game. This includes not only the base game, but all if the expansions and all of the promo pieces up to 2019. The game itself is fun and easy to learn and it is not difficult to mix in the expansions, as the rulebook gives you a clear way to mix in the different sets. I highly recommend this.

We love the game!!! It is super fun! The big box in only slightly less expensive than all the expansions and base game though. We wish we would have bought them one by one.

We had the base version of Castle Panic but the kids love it (8 & 6 years) so we play it tons & had lost some bases for towers bent some cards etc. So when this version came on sale I snapped it up. It was so worth it. First it has all the expansions which is great but the box is very well thought out and everything can be stored in it's own place.

Easy to learn the basics but we have yet to learn the more advanced rules. With the pandemic we can only play with the 3 of us and this tends to be very challenging. It is obvious to us that the more players you have the better the game will be and the better your chances are of actually winning. Even with the three person limitation we still have fun with this and do not regret purchasing it.

For spending nearly $70 for this game I expect that everything comes with it. Not only am I missing cards and game pieces, the rule book is missing pages 19-22. The game is fun and very easy to learn, but I feel cheated by the missing items. UPDATE: I reached out to the manufacturer of the game and they happily sent everything that was missing and a little extra for my troubles.

The game is amazing and a great multi player. Its strategy and team based, so its great for kids to learn to team work.

The box includes a handy organizer to keep the components from the various expansions seperate. Much higher replayability having the options to mix and match what components to use. Make sure to follow the setup instructions.

We love this board game and the value of getting the expansions with the base game, however despite being a new game the set was missing a castle wall game piece. :( We are still able to play the game but unfortunate that a piece was missing from a brand new game.
