Q: Are these nydj sizes quoted in us sizes?

My wife bought these on my Amazon account. Wanted size UK6. Drop-down menu for choosing size shows US sizes, so she chose US size 2. Jeans were a good fit, and their label said size 2. The size chart alongside the drop-down menu seems to have been translated into UK sizes.

They tell you to order one size down. If you are a 14 they say order a 12. I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work. Gave up on them in the end.
